So close, but not quite
First off, let me say that we had a tremendously positive experience with this home's property manager, Moving Mountains, with whom we would work again without hesitation. From the shuttle, to the responsiveness, to their ready answers on places to eat, etc., they were tremendous. The property also has its positives - particularly three things stood out: the kitchen is well equipped (we like to cook, and the kitchen had everything), the artwork in the home is quite nice and the rooftop hot tub was a nice experience with a great view of the valley. There are also downsides: the condo/home is exceptionally narrow and highly vertical. This creates a major problem for anyone with not great knees or with dogs (the house is dog friendly but in name not in fact). Our three year-old labs really struggled as the stairs are quite slippery. The living room seats 5, at best, to watch a TV that is 2x larger than the small space and close seating necessitates. this lack of space means there is no easy way for everyone to be together other than eating meals at the tall table. A last positive comment: the heated garage also has boot and glove dryers - very helpful if you have kids that love to play in the snow after a day on the mountain.
