Very pleasantly surprised by the location and cleanliness. Fully equipped, including washer and drier. I have nothing to to be negative about , I'd recommend and go back myself.

Clarion Hotel Stavanger

Perfect location with classy restaurant

I stayed at this hotel for one night before flying out of the Stavanger Airport. The location is perfect, an easy walk to everything in the downtown area of Stavanger. That being said, I think everything is an easy walk to everything in Stavanger. Parking was 100kr/night or about $17/night. It's a public garage and there seem to be a few of them around and they're all run by the city and the same price. Very convenient. The restaurant is just fine. Very nice quality and service. However, staying in a hotel that includes dinner in the price is usually the best value in Norway. Understand that when I say value, this is on the Norwegian price scale. Traveling in Norway is 2x to 3x typical United Sates prices. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. That being said, also on the Norwegian scale, so yes there will be one or two servers for the entire restaurant. They get paid quite well, so read your Norway guidebook before you tip. Breakfast had the usual Norwegian spread, but also had the cooked to order omelets that are common in American chain hotels. There's no controls for the heated floor in the bathroom, but it was never cold, so I think it is in fact heated. The room was compact, but with giant pillows, a well stocked minibar, and a nice big screen on the wall. Clarions are a safe bet in Norway!

Quality Airport Hotel Stavanger

Good Hotel-Amazing Breakfast

Our room was great, very clean and comfortable. The dinner in the restaurant that evening was just okay, very limited menu and fairly expensive. The breakfast however, was amazing. Such good food and so many choices. Shuttle service worked well, on time and comfortable.
