Maybe not everyone's priority but the internet is fast and free, The rooms are clean and tidy, very relaxing, and the bathrooms spacious and very clean, one can bath/shower and have room to dry oneself in comfort. The in room tea making facilities are good, and the room had space to work, and relax. The staff were warm and welcoming, very considerate
Magic stay at the Fairytale suite! The staff are so welcoming. Needed to change my booking, that was no problem. enjoyed a class of wine by the fireplace. even got a rose engraved With "GREAT TO HAVE YOU" in Our room. thank you so much Park hotel, we will be back!
Without asking we were upgraded and got a very spacious room/suite on the top floor. We would have been satisfied with this hotel anyway, but the upgrade was a bonus. Breakfast was a bit above average. The istructions to where the airportbus stops, were not very good, though.
I was check in early a day time and of course I was think they will not have room is available yet but the nice looking reception who give me the sweetest room I ever have before. Nice bathroom and comfortable bed and silent side!! I bought him a bottle red wine because he deserve then and enjoy it !! Have a nice weekend and I will definitely stay in same hotel when I am back to Stavanger !!
Me and my boyfriend celebrated New Year`s Eve at Scandic Stavanger Park. We were very satisfied with our stay! Nice, modern rooms, great food and service. And also a delight rooftop/balcony to experience the great view over Stavanger city. Highly recommended to celebrate this type of occasion (and many others) here as a couple! :-)
This hotel was comfortable and had everything we needed, but we were staying in summer and found that the room became too warm unless the window was opened. This was possible, but it let in traffic noise, which woke us in the early morning.
This is a nice hotel with well sized and comfortable rooms and a very good free breakfast buffet especially taking into account cost of meals generally in Norway. Included a good selection of gluten free items which were located away from potentially contaminating items. A short walk into the city centre, it's a pleasant base to explore the small but attractive city.
I was here on New Years eve. The room I got was much smaller than the pictures on the booking site and the hotel's own website. I had to go back to the reception to get the room I actually booked. The room has only 1 switch for all the lights, and the power outlets do not work when the lights are off. This is very inconvenient. There was no soap or shampoo in the shower, and the TV did not work either.. The breakfast was ok, but it does not have a wide variety of selections. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It is a shame that the room has to ruin the hotel experience.
Staff was very hospitable and available 24/7. Had some information about the tours that I was taking and they are very knowledgeable. There is free wifi and computers in the lobby available for use. Rooms very comfy, but felt a little cramped and small. The breakfast is free and it's a good selection of food. They also offer food to bring with you if you go for any trips or hikes which is awesome and convenient. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.
Stayed for one night as part of an anniversary trip to Stavanger and loved this hotel. The reception was inviting and cosy on arrival with the fire alight and staff welcoming. As part of our trip, they upgraded our room and left a note and chocolate inside as a treat which was a lovely gesture. Our room was large with fantastic views and a modern, luxurious bathroom. Underfloor heating and quality toiletries were perfect after a day in Wintry Norway. There was a sofa area, workstation and kettle along with a fridge. The wifi worked seamlessly too. There was a balcony area on the top floor to enjoy views also. Breakfast offered a good variety, although seating was limited within the main eating area. The hotel is just a minutes stroll from the bus station and the main central area. We caught the airport shuttle which was easy and cheap. Would happily return.
