Corinthia Hotel St Petersburg

Our first visit to St Petersburg was to see our daughter who is studying there. We were lucky to enjoy 5 days of blue skies. We booked through Voyage Prive. The attractions of the city don't need to be described here. Suffice it to say, there is a huge amount to see and do. The hotel is well located on Nevsky Prospect, being a short walk from the main sites of the old city, as well as shops, restaurants and transport links. A glass of champagne at check in set the tone for a comfortable stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and we were shown to our rooms on the fifth floor without delay. Room 539 was spacious and with good facilities, and overlooked Nevsky Prospect which could be a bit noisy at times. Room 535 was smaller and with a view to an internal courtyard or similar. The style is fairly corporate but good nevertheless. Breakfast was a very extensive buffet including cooked breakfast, fresh fruit, pastries, cold meats, cheese, cereals, yoghurt, etc. Service at breakfast was well meaning although sometimes the staff cleared things before they were finished which was a bit annoying! On my son's birthday, the staff sang happy birthday and produced a cake unprompted! The concierge was helpful although at times very busy and helped organise a visit to the Hermitage (avoiding the long queues), taxis and other excursions. Uber is available in St Petersburg and is a good alternative. Our one bad experience was with a taxi hailed on the street. Beware - and always agree a price upfront. We didn't make full use of the hotel's facilities including a gym, formal restaurant and bar, preferring to eat out locally. Nearby Rubinsteyna Street has lots of good, reasonable options for food and drink. I'd happily recommend this hotel and would be glad to stay there again.

A rather late review as I stayed before Christmas but couldn't let the hotel stay slip by without leaving a review. Firstly, I think this is the best location in St Petersburg; everything is close by. Secondly, the staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and whether you are a first time visitor to this city or a regular, you will find all the front desk staff and concierges extremely helpful and very smiley! I have stayed here several times - sometimes small rooms and sometimes bigger. They are all very comfortable and it really depends if you want to pay the premium for a larger room, a front facing view etc etc. To be honest, I think in a beautiful city where so little time is spent in your room, the choice is up to you. Breakfast is very extensive and lovely views, probably best to get a deal where this is included. The rooms and guest areas are very clean. I have been so impressed by the customer service here I recommended the hotel to my partners in St Petersburg, and I am pleased to say they now hold an event here annually. So all in all, a great hotel, clean, comfortable rooms, excellent and friendly staff and a superb location. Hope you enjoy your stay!

We stayed on our city trip to St. Petersburg for two nights at the Corinthia Hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful, friendly and spoke proper English. During the check-in procedure the staff offered us a free glass of Champagne and brought our luggage to the room. The room itself was nice, quite large and clean. The breakfast includes a wide range of foods. Again, the service staff was very helpful, attentive and friendly. The only thing missing for a 5-star hotel was a swimming pool and a sauna. However, we can highly recommend this place.

Absolutely delighted with our stay in this beautiful Hotel. The service was first class with friendly staff who are very attentive. The rooms are tastefully furnished. Located within walking distance of the Winter Palace and the Faberge Museum. Definitely one to visit.

I’ll say that the staff here is extremely kind. But I’m very disappointed by the fact that they don’t have a more generous early check in policy. I arrived on an early flight and I understand not being able to check me in if the hotel was full, but they initially said it was full and then said that they could give me a room 3 hours before check in if I paid an additional half a night stay. I’ve been traveling across this area for the past 2 weeks and have received amazing early check in service. I wouldn’t have booked here if I had known I would be sitting in the hotel lobby for several hours waiting for the clock to strike 1 pm. Will they give me the cost of half a night stay back when I check out in the early morning my last day?!

we Loved the hotel. It was conveniently located on Nevsky Avenue. The hotel is beautifully appointed clean and very efficiently run. Every member of staff made us feel very welcome - they are friendly and very professional. Our room in the executive floor was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the use of the executive lounge - superb breakfast and snack and drinks throughout the day. The concierge arranged restaurant reservations and airport transfers in advance if our stay too. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend!

Several times stay at this hotel and never been disappointed. Tobe strict only criticism is the check in and check out due to slow registration process. Perhaps it is due to local bureaucracy. Price is a bit expensive but it is worth paying for a good ratio quality/price.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights for a work trip. I had a fabulous stay - the staff were all excellent particularly the staff at the Imperial Restaurant. The breakfast was excellent. I was very happy with my room - the bed was comfortable; good pillows. The location of the hotel is excellent for exploring the city. I have nothing negative at all to say about this hotel.

The situation is the best of St petersburg and the hotel, a sort of an old palace is quite good We didn't take the breakfast overthere (because too expensive, 30 € !!!) so, i can(t say anything about the food

The reception is gorgeous and stafc is warm, helpful, young and pleased to help and share their cuty with you!!!! Also live music is played in lobby and the hotel is just near the amazing metro and lots of shopping!
