This is just a fabulous hotel in all respects, from the prime location in the heart of the old city, to the spacious, comfortable rooms, to the old and classy aesthetic. I love it!
The space was beautiful and extremely well cleaned. The bed and sheets were especially wonderful.
Staff. Very friendly. Small property. Loved it. Would highly recommend
Great location, amazing hotel. Terrific value. Historic.
Excellent, classy, and cozy hotel. Ideal location, close to all major attractions. Rooms big and clean. Plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. The swimming pool and spa are also very beautiful. Hotel highly recommended
Gorgeous pool!!! Beautiful room!!! Excellent service!!!!! Great food!!!!
This is a stylish hotel, very centrally located, with an extremely helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are elegant, with high ceilings, crown molding, and nice wooden furnishings. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are modern and nice. There is a minibar, and staff provide bottled water on a daily basis. There is also a good restaurant in the hotel, which specializes in contemporary takes on traditional Polish cuisine. There are cozy sitting areas on the first floor where you can sit and have a drink. The breakfast is a little too expensive but good. The hotel provides umbrellas for guests, a service which came in handy. The hotel staff is welcoming and accommodating, and I really enjoyed the overall ambiance in the hotel. The location could hardly be better, virtually in the shadow of Wawel Castle and about a 5-10 minute walk to the Rynek Główny, which is the main square. In short, I highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again if and when I make it back to Kraków.
Great location, beautifully decorated but the air conditioning hardly worked. We notified staff over the course of three days, and finally got a minor drop in temperature. We had two rooms and both were the same. When we checked out I mentioned the problem again, they said they were aware and offered no apologies or anything else.
This hotel was worth the extra cost (which wasn't that much, especially with the strong U.S. Dollar). Excellent breakfast, very attentive staff, all of whom speak excellent English. It's located within a block of the castle and easy walking distance to the central square in one direction and the walking path along the Vistula River in the other. A very pleasant experience.
Krakow was wonderful, and we really wanted to like our hotel, but... the bed was very uncomfortable, so of the 4 of us traveling on this trip- staying 3 nights in 3 different rooms- none of us got one good night's sleep. A cozier bed and decent pillows would solve this easily. Also, there was no common area for guests to socialize. There were 4 chairs in one small nook, but if they were taken by another group you were out of luck. I've never seen another hotel, especially not a "luxury hotel" where this was the case. Additionally, the staff, depending on who you got at the desk, was sometimes rude, sometimes nice. Not acceptable at these prices. Some of the staff bent over backward to help, and the others should follow suit. With better pillows/beds and a little more uniformly courteous staff this would be a very pleasant hotel.
