Our usual place to stay was as always excellent. From check in to check out. Loved that we got local papers and flyers for shopping. Took advantage of the beautiful pool. And since we arrived on Thanksgiving we were able to have our supper there and all the turkey and ham trimmings. We had just missed lunch buffet which people were raving about. Never disappointed always enjoy. Room spotless. Staff are so friendly and helpful.
We do a Yearly trip with friends to do Black Friday shopping! Something we look forwa d to and we know we are going to be comfortable and relaxed. We have been staying here for the last few years and are always satisfied.
He hotel is relatively new and the staff are friendly. The issue is hot water is non existent in the hotel. The first room I was in smelled like sewer and staff were able to relocate me to another room. Still no hot water.
Staff was excellent and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was wonderful, very clean and comfortable as was the bathroom. The meals were amazing. HIGHLY recommend this hotel. The gym was also well equipped and super convenient.
The committee would like to thank the Hilton Garden Inn for an excellent job with the 2017 Watertown Mayor's Charity Ball! The executive chef did a fabulous job with dinner, and service was exceptional! Staffing were professional throughout the event. Feedback on the event that night - practically everyone we spoke too came up and said "This is the BEST Mayor's Ball they had been so far" Everyone had a great time and had positive comments. A BIG thank you to Manager, Shawn McCormick he was very professional with all our requests, even at the last minute! Buffet line was tastefully decorated and the ambiance was perfect. Had no issues at check in or during my stay. One of the best breakfast I ever ate. Would recommend this hotel for leisure or business. Nice work out facility as well as pool. Had a relaxing drink at the bar after a long day of traveling. Felt good to relax and converse with the bar attendant.
I stopped here for business trip. The hotel front area is beautiful and clean the service is as great. The room was large and clean. The only downfall was I was on the side next to the highway, so you could hear all the semis. The hotel does provide ear plugs in your room (that was nice).
I was recently at the Hilton for a special event one evening that served a buffet dinner. When we went to walk through the buffet line their well done sign at the clued me in that there were tree nuts in the salad (and so I couldn't eat it due to my severe nut allergy). I went up to the executive chef overseeing the line to ask if it was possible to get a fresh salad plate without nuts and when he learned of my allergy he asked to walk through the line with me and point out the other three dishes that contain other types of tree nuts so that I wouldn't consume them. And then asked which of the dishes it is if any or all I would like and that they would go make me fresh servings of each. They were so accommodating and didn't make me feel like it was a burden. Just a few minutes later a beautiful plate of fresh dishes free of tree nuts was brought right to my dinner table :-) Very grateful for their professional and prompt way of addressing food allergy needs of their special event guests!
We stayed at the Hilton in Watertown NY on our way to Quebec. This was a halfway point for us. The hotel was small, clean and fairly comfortable. The restaurant and bar area was adequate and accommodating. I would stay there again.
I was glad to find out the pool/hot tub area was not down for maintenance as I was first told. Mostly because I wanted to use the hot tub as they use Bromine instead of Chlorine. However, I'm glad I had someone to help me into it because the stairs are not easy to maneuver if one has problem with leg. I was told they had new Serta mattresses. However,They were not comfortable and the pillows were so soft even using five went down to the mattress. I also mentioned to the day mgr. that the tub needed to have some sort of sleep resistant strips as I did not feel safe taking a shower. Having the B&B room we got free breakfast buffet buffet that would have cost $11.99 + The day mgr. was very helpful when I told her about the problems. And Maintenance took care of them too. I suggest the second floor. It was quiet above even though there were a couple of parties going on. I look forward to staying again. However, I will bring along my 2" topper and my own pillow until things change.
