We had stayed here last year when this was a comfort Inn. They have changed chains and done some updates. Overall nice hotel, no elevator which was no big deal for us. Beds are comfortable, room was clean. Microwave and frig in room. Hotel staff very polite. The breakfast is definitely skippable and I felt like $90/night is a little overpriced for the room but overall I would stay here again.
In Maryville for a Northwest Missouri State University football game. Older hotel but rooms were nice and clean! Hotel staff was very nice and friendly. Enjoyed our stay and the later check out time helped.
We stayed one night while visiting our kids At northwest Missouri State. The hotel and room were clean, pillows are comfy. The rooms had a refrigerator and microwave . Staff very nice .I would stay again.
A friend and I stayed here overnight while in town for a conference. Our stay was pleasant and I will return to this hotel again. Service at the front desk was friendly, our room was clean and quiet, and we really enjoyed having two sink/mirror areas for getting ready in the morning. The location was easy to find, and we were able to walk next door for a bite to eat. This location recently became a Red Roof Inn after having been a Comfort Inn for some time. An article in the local newspaper indicated that this was a top Comfort Inn but that the lack of an elevator for the two-story building meant that Choice Hotels would not renew the franchise. This was my first Red Roof Inn experience and I would not hesitate to stay at another if they're all as pleasant as this one.
This hotel is a great place to stay overnight while passing through Maryville. The staff is friendly and there is plenty of parking, even for semis or RVs. The rooms are very clean and very comfortable.
The hotel was great! The staff had my hotel rooms ready to go for my entire group and had our receipts ready to go when I checked out. The room had comfortable beds and it is great to have two sinks in the room too. It was a great stay.
A few of us went to Maryville for A 3 day trip to ride the dragon on our bike. There were 4 roomswe had total. They were all perfect. Exhausted we came in for a late check-in on Thursday. The staff was friendly and nice when we went to our rooms the rooms were clean smelled great and the beds were so soft and comfortable it took no time to melt into them. We rode the entire time we were up there came back to the hotel to sleep and shower it was always quiet and clean the hot tub is wonderful and the swimming pool was perfect. They provide pool towels so you don't have to take your own towel or your room Towels and the pool and hot tub have no closing time and the best of it is they were inside a beautiful Glass Room. Absolutely enjoyed my stay here the breakfast was good and hot with biscuits and sausage gravy or sausage and biscuits cereal fruit juices waffles muffins bagels it was awesome to wake up and have that available to us. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. And I will be returning there again.
The air conditioning needs work. We came from our event and our hanging clothes, pillows and sheets were damp due to the air conditioning's inability to take out humidity. We talked to the guy at the fro t with little reaction except that "sometimes when it is humid, the air can't keep up." Wanted to know if we tried turning it off?! We decided we could not sleep in a cold, clammy bed, so my husband went up and talked to the front. They changed our room although there was not much difference in the second room. We were so happy to leave and go to the Sunday event, just so our clothes could dry out. It was less humid in the room with the swimming pool!
Great location. Close to all the stores, restaurants and gas stations. Good place to stay for people with kids. Nice swimming pool indoor and outdoor but doesn't have jacuzzi tub. Good breakfast and services.
It can't understand some of the negative reviews of this place!! I have probably stayed at this facility five times in the last 10 or 15 years, including my stay this past week-end. It has never failed to be pleasing and comfortable. The room itself and the breakfast room have always been very clean. They have a fine breakfast. Everything works well. (However, I thought the batteries in the TV remote were wearing out and the security hardware on the door needed to be tightened. I told the manager about it and she made a written note of it to pass on to maintenance.) The furniture is relatively new, the plumbing is fairly new, the carpeting looks new, and everything smells good. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. It is easy to find. I don't know of any better accommodation in the area. (I've been in other places which were unspeakably dirty or had bugs.) I would highly recommend this place to anybody traveling through the area. Also, I don't understand the complaint about the "small town." This place has at least a few good restaurants with moderately priced food. It has a state university, Walmart, JC Penny, and some other good retail outlets. This is a nicetown to stay in.
