We were in town for a pro fight. The house was safe and comfortable and clean and the host was well versed in people skills. Checkin was easy and all details of what was expected were explained. Would definitely stay again if are ever in the area. Highly recommend

We had such a wonderful stay at this property in St. Joseph! From the moment we booked, David was an exceptional host. His communication was quick, clear, and thoughtful — he truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of. You can tell he cares about his guests’ experience, and it shows in the little touches throughout the home and in how attentive he is.The house itself was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. We had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend, and the layout was perfect for our group. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and felt right at home every moment we were there.I’ve stayed at many vacation rentals, and David stands out as one of the best hosts I’ve ever interacted with. If you’re considering this place, just book it. You won’t be disappointed!

Clean and convenient

David met us and toured through the house at check in. Friendly and informative. Very clean and smelled nice. Games available . He was very accessible. He was also very familiar with St. Joseph and gave suggestions. Much better than booking 2 hotel rooms for 3 adults and 2 kids.

Excellent Host - property has some flaws

Host is excellent: great communication, clear rules and instructions, and a lot of creature comforts in the home. Checkout process was not an imposition as other properties I’ve stayed at. The property is clean, but when you look close the cracks (some literal) start to show. Floors have a noticeable slant along with a few cracks in the tile and walls. The standup shower has what appears to be mold growing between wall and floor pan, and the drywall in that bathroom is showing signs of moisture damage. We never felt unsafe, but these were certainly items that could be addressed. The neighborhood is a little older, but well situated for dining and activities. Overall I’d stay again, it was a fine value for the area.

Great Location

We stayed recently while attending an event at Missouri Western State University. The location is excellent for this...just a few minutes drive to campus. The neighborhood is mixed residential (houses and apartments) but in general was quiet. The house was spotless and very well-maintained. The host met us at the house and provided a thorough walk-through, with special attention to various features like the in-home Alexa and security features. He was excellent about communicating with us prior to the visit and throughout and even went so far as to let us know that we had accidentally left a jacket behind when we checked out, so that we were able to retrieve it. For anyone who is looking for a location convenient to Missouri Western, I highly recommend this home!! P.S. the host is very entertaining and did some magic tricks for us when we checked in :)

St Joe

Very quiet neighborhood. We live in the country and normally have trouble staying in town with traffic noise keeping us awake. This location was perfect. We have found a place to return to the next time we are visiting family.

Military reunion

We stayed at your home with 2 other of are Army buddies . We hadn't seen each other in 43 years. These house provided us with the ideal place to relax and enjoy each other. The information about things in town was helpful , we saw many interesting things.

Our trip to Missouri!

Sandy was great to work with, home was great! Nice area, close to food, shopping, great variety. Close to Missouri Star Quilting Co. (30 min). Also close to historic sites. This home has a security system also. Would stay here again!
