Large Room with comfy king bed. This low price hotel was easy to find and easy to locate centrally located nearby the highway. Easy to book through Trip Advisor. Great price was pretty cheap but no changes and no refund for this room.
Great spot to stay at if you're looking for an affordable option that's clean, quiet, and easy to find right of the roadway. We just wanted a place to crash for the night outside of KC on our way north. We arrived late and had to dial the lobby phone to check in; the manager responded right away and was very efficient and great about explaining the limited hotel amenities. The hotel isn't the newest, but the AC, mini fridge, and microwave all worked well and the room was clean. It definitely wasn't fancy, but it was more than we expected for $50-60 per night. Breakfast ran from 6-9 and included mini muffins, mini cinnamon rolls, biscuits and sausage gravy, a few types of cereal, waffles, and two types of juice. Overall a great bargain when passing through!
First time staying at America's Best in Cameron and am so thankful I did! All travel accommodations should be this nice and professionally run. The rooms are nicer than any I have stayed in recently! (At any price) Awesome beds, beautifully furnished, professionally run. The best money you can spend on lodging anywhere in the area.
I checked in but didn't like what I saw. I came back about 1/2 hour later and l left the key. While checking in the extermanator man was there to spray for bugs. Decided I didn't want to be there. I drove to another hotel. I never went to the room.
Clean rooms but need a lot of updating. Felt uncomfortable with locals that stay there. Parking is small and not much of a breakfast. Will not stop again! Seems more like apartment complex than hotel. Not a very good area off highways
We stayed here overnight on our way home from Colorado Springs. The room was as pictured. It was odd though, the furniture was new, flat screen TV, microwave and frig were all nice and new but the room itself was kind of crummy. There was a big tear in the old carpeting and the room had been spackled but not re-painted. It seems the paint and carpeting should have been renewed prior to the furniture. The beds and linens were more comfortable than the Drury in CO we had vacationed at for twice the price, It was quiet and clean enough. The breakfast was adequate and the staff friendly. The parking lot is too small. We left for dinner and returned to a full lot and had to park next door where it was clearly posted that we could be towed. We were able to move our car in the morning into the hotel lot. For what we paid it was fine for an overnight.
Called, got rate and availability. Got there 20 minutes later. Gentleman was friendly enough, but obviously sneaky. He charged more and when I questioned it, he said it was a high tax area. When I got to my room, I realized he hadn't given me a receipt. Went back and seen why he hadn't offered it, because it was a higher rate. Just to pissed to get into an argument. The halls are seriously cluttered with odd chairs, wall panels, miscellaneous stuff. Under the stair wells, same thing. Room had LOTS of wall repairs, but then was never repainted so splotchy walls all over the room and bathroom. HOWEVER, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. That is all you can say for the place. Breakfast, yeahhhh, not what I would call a few mini muffins and a waffle maker.
I was looking for the best deal I could find, as I didn't want to spend a lot of money. America's Best Value Inn had the best deal on Trip Advisor, so I booked it knowing I would get what I paid for. I was traveling by myself, and didn't need anything flashy. The Inn is very simple, as expected. When I went into my room, I was happy to see that it was clean and fresh. You could tell that the staff cared about a job well done. They were friendly, and the room was quiet. The heater worked well, and the shower was hot. Water pressure was good, and the tub was well maintained. The mini fridge was new, and kept my food cold. For the money, I definitely got more than I paid for!
We needed a spot to lay our heads while en route from MN to AZ with our dog. This place was quiet, and welcoming as well as clean and had everything we needed. The price was fabulous! Highly suggest this hotel! We never know what we are getting when booking from the road, but the politeness of the owner by phone was authentic on arrival as well!
The room was spacious, no place to set your luggage. Breakfast was the cheapest I've ever been at! Coffee was only thing hot. Personal, has no personality. We booked on line, he made us feel like that was wrong, we should have called instead. We brought in a coupon he did not honor it because we booked on line and would miss his commission if he honored it. No hello, no smile, no good bye. Will not return!!!!
