A sincere, heartfelt THANK YOU to the staff who worked during my stay. I realized after checking out that I left my wedding bands in my bathroom!! Not only did the hotel call me to tell me, they put them aside for me to pick up when I was back in St. John's! They also asked for ID for pick up to ensure they were getting back to the rightful owner. I was so relieved and impressed with how this was handled. The wedding bands could have easily been taken or "misplaced", so I really appreciate the honesty and outcome of this event!

We had a nice stay. But a few hick-ups. Our TV remote didn’t work for our first night. Channels or volume. No microwave in the room. Very limited with coffee & tea. No decafinated products in coffee or tea. Rooms were lovely with an option of a jacuzzi & shower to use. Very nice toiletries. Overall we were pleased except for a few glitches.

I really like the outside access units with the kitchenette. It has a more private, small apartment or tiny home feel. They provided most things you would need. The area is fairly quiet. No issues.

Very inconvenient

When we arrived our room appeared good. We unpacked and opened a bottle of wine. Later in the evening we decided to fill the jetted bath. The water was luke warm . I called the front desk. 10:00 pm we are being moved to another room. Very inconvenient, packing up and glasses of wine in hand moving to new room. Immediately going into the new room I tirn on the water in the jetted bath. The water was hot. Awesome. As the bth is filling up. The water looked yellow/ brown. I turned on the jets. There was a gross foam. No way that I was getting in that water! I'm very disappointed that our romantic night was ruined. It was our first time staying at Monastery Hotel.
