Great location. Lakeview room had a perfect view of the Mackinac Bridge. Room was very clean. Staff was friendly. The building was decorated for the season. Pool was clean. Hot tub worked. Continental breakfast was sufficient- offered hard boiled eggs, egg muffins, cold cereal, fruit, oatmeal, bagels, donuts, waffles, juice & coffee. Would definitely stay again.

We had 3 rooms, 100, 200 and 219, but room 219 had dirty napkins and crumbs in the trundle bed and a juice box was left in the room behind the desk. We were not given more towels or washcloths while we were out on our 2nd day. The AC worked perfectly and the view was amazing. The staff at the desk were very helpful with suggestions on places to eat and with getting discounted tickets to the ferry to go to Mackinaw Island.

We liked the view from the balcony best. Breakfast was good. Convenient parking. Though room was clean, there was an unpleasant smell from the time we entered the hotel and persisted throughout our stay which affected my son. There was power outage for 2/3 hrs on both days of our stay, and the staff, though willing, was helpless in the situation. We had selected this place of stay based on customer reviews, but were not very satisfied with the stay.

Rooms were clean. Cleaning staff were very polite. The view of the Mac bridge was awesome. But on there site it says Breakfast is served until 9:30 went down there to get something at 9 and they had shut it down and most of the day shift staff were very unpleasant people !!

Basic. Needs updating, and a deep cleaning.

Wife and I are both non-smokers, so the smell of old smoke, with a hint of mildew, in the room irratated our sinuses. It was not overwhelming, like a casino, but definitely present. I would imagine that the cleaning staff smokes ( outside of work, not in the room) so they are unaware of the smell.
