The room and the bathroom were very clean and very well maintained. The staff was very helpful and very accommodating and very friendly. The breakfast could have been a little bit better, maybe throw in some yogurt or some fruit.Instead of just all starches. The air conditioning kept the room at a consistent temperature that we were comfortable with.

When I got there, despite the normal, 1 PM checkout time they tried to charge me $35 to get in the room before 3 o’clock. The room was already clean. They demanded a $50 cash deposit. When I left, they tried to tell me that I broke the television and refused to return the deposit. The entire property was in the middle of renovation and the television was not even attached. It was laying flat on the dresser. And when I demanded the return of the money, they threatened to call the police.

Overall the place was nice and clean,I just did not like the front desk guy was watching me every time I came out to smoke or when I had a friend come see me they stop her and ask her who she there to see,it made her very uncomfortable.

Awful hotel. Rude and zero care for their customer

Terrible because the booking said go to the Wheeling Area Super 8 and we got charged a no show fee from St. CLAIRSVILLE and they would no refund it. Even though my friend went to the hotel in Wheeling like the email said it was a different Super 8 and neither of the Super 8s cared so we got charged for both hotels. Will never stay at a Super 8 again because of the horrible customer service and lack of care for their customers. 0 star review would be better.
