My husband needed to make a quick trip to Springfield to buy some heavy machinery. There was a big sale going on the next morning, and he said people actually spend the night in the parking lot of this equipment company in order to be "first one in" when the doors open. After driving six hours of driving each way, I wasn't happy with the idea of him cooped up in the truck all night! I did some quick research and found the Best Budget Inn in Springfield, MO, which was just several miles from his destination. I called and spoke with a very pleasant woman, booked the reservation for $60 (plus tax), and hoped my husband would get a good night's rest. He was extremely satisfied with the property. The room was clean and comfortable, all amenities in the bath, just no coffee pot for an early riser. He had to admit, it was certainly a better deal than overnighting in his truck! I'm so happy that we found this property, in case he needs to go there again.

The room wasn't that bad but the people that run it that's another story! We left in the morning to eat by 930 am they called and said all of our stuff was at the front desk mind you checkout isn't until 11... They were trying to keep our belongings mind you things that were very irreplaceable from out deceased grandparents they lied and said we smoked in there which was a total lie!! Said we broke the refrigerator another lie because we had pizza never used it!! She demands another payment to get our belongings... Good advice for anyone is to keep driving I've never in my life experienced such a thing! Sad!!!

The rooms are very large. The Innkeepers were genuine in their happiness to see Me rent one of their rooms. (But) wow! the price is high to stay there! I'm wondering if it is because of the proximity to Branson that the rents are so high? It's a pleasant stay, as long as You can afford to do so!

We stopped after a long day's driving at what we expected to be a typical 1970's era motel, just hoping for a few hours sleep mid-road trip. What we found was a beautifully kept and lovingly cared for room that was lovely and inviting. The owners were so kind and helpful and welcomed our two large dogs. If I were ever to vacation in Springfield I would consider this a perfect place for my family to stay.

We had an excellent experience with the Best Budget Inn of Springfield, Missouri! The rooms were very clean and tastefully renovated by a a caring family. Very quiet and reasonably priced. Good service by people who really care about what they are doing to make a living. We plan to return next time through!

Was very clean and quiet, and real comfortable. The owners were pleasant and very welcoming. Thanks for the nice room and you will continue to have my business again. Telling everyone I knw to stay there. Thanks again

After reading all the past reviews, I finally just decided on Best Budget Inn because it had the highest rating of the motels within my price range. It's not fancy, but it's clean, the furnishings match, it's got a 32 inch LED TV, and it's the very first budget motel that I've ever been in that has a desk & chair, a small dining table with two chairs, and an upholstered vanity seat in the room. The fridge is the larger size and the microwave is the same one I have in my own kitchen. But the best part? I'm sitting in a recliner! I go to quite a few conferences in fancy hotels and NONE of them up to this point has had a recliner in the room. I've stayed in Hilton, Raddison, several different resort lodges and spent two weeks in Cancun. No recliners. True, that this motel is not perfect. It's cold tonight and there is no weather stripping on the door, I can feel a lot of cold air when I stand near the door. The only thing I can find that is visibly grubby looking is the telephone. So I'm just gonna stay away from it and use my cell phone for calls. There is cracked tile in the bathroom, but the bathroom is clean. There's soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The towels are white and look new, plus there's enough of them. So......to summarize...I have table and two chairs for dining, a desk and chair for writing, flat screen TV, fridge, microwave, king size bed, three large fluffy pillows, all the colors generally match, enough towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. So what if there's no iron or coffee maker? There's a Dollar General next door and all kinds of restaurants within 2 miles. The carpet is clean, I've been barefoot all night, and my feet are still clean. Not bad for a total of $55 including taxes.

quiet, clean place. front desk help nice. allows pets and has smoking rooms. park at yur door. has fridge and micowave. was clean and smells nice. i didnt use internet although they claim to have it. good motel or the price when traveling.

stayed here for 4 days, was in Springfield to meet my great-grandson, the motel was a ten minute drive to my granddaughters house so it was very handy. The beds where comfortable and the room was very clean. The owners and cleaning staff where friendly, nice and helpful

We spent two nights here, not a very pleasant stay.. The room was grubby, no coffee maker although there was a fridge and a microwave. The office had a regular home style coffee maker but was not open until 6 am. The lobby was pretty undesirable also the manager was kinda scary looking and not very personable.. We did choose the smoking room. It had no odor but there were cigarette burns in the blankets and sheets. There was dog fur stuck to the bathroom door and drips of something on the bathroom walls. I chose this motel because I had read the reviews on here and they seemed pretty good. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day?? I would not return to this motel and like the title says, You get what you pay for..
