Excellent Hotel with very efficient service. Warm and friendly environment. Nice pool and excersize room. Good facility for business meetings, with continental breakfast for free. Only flaw - too close to the train tracks.

Had family from out of town staying here for a family get together, they had called a couple weeks ahead to get reservation & we're given one rate, but upon check in were charged a higher rate. When staff was questioned about the higher rate, family was told it was because it was the weekend. Staff should have known when the reservations were made it was for the weekend & given the rate accordingly. Also the hot tub jets were barely working & water not hot, breakfast was less than mediocre. That being said, we always use this hotel for bday parties, family reunions, ect. But the last 2 times we've used it , we were less than impressed , the lobby was so stuffy you could hardly breath ,locks didnt work, reservations were messed up. This use to be a great place when previous owners had it, but since it changed hands it has really gone down hill. Owners can barely speak English & are rude. I think its pretty safe to say for our future get together we will be using another hotel.

Excellent property in so many ways: cleanliness, decor, professional staff (always had a genuine smile), comfort of room (bed, linens, pillows, air conditioning, lighting, electric plugs, bathroom supplies. Even had an afternoon Cookie 🍪

Clean, clean, clean - and very comfortable beds and pillows! Smaller hotel and it was very quiet - maybe because it's a little out of the way, not many kids were there, which suited my husband and I perfectly! We never heard doors slamming, other television sets, other showers/hairdryers, no running up and down the halls. Husband said the breakfast was less than desirable, but that is never our main concern.

This was a very nice hotel. Newer, updated, extremely clean and welcoming. Fitness room is small with only 3 pieces of equipment but adequate and nice. Breakfast is nice and eating area is very clean. Pool is decent size and spa is large. Only complaint is internet service. It is free, but pretty much non existent. Stayed 3 days with 4 people and no one could get online with 6 different devices. Always said limited. That needs some improvement.

I booked two rooms on May 6, 2017 for dates of service of Sept 1-3,2017. I requested rooms next to each or and to be on the same floor as the rest of my family that was staying there from out of town. I was told that would not be a problem. Well when I checked in on Sept 1st, one room was on the first floor and mine was on the 2nd floor!!! The rest of my family was also on the first floor. I was not happy. I asked speak to the manager , he was not in so I asked for him to call my cell phone. A few minutes the clerk cam to me with the managers name an number, I immediately called him, John Waite. I introduced myself explained the situation and he said "well it is spilled milk what do you want me to do?" I said I want you to fix it sconce I had booked my rooms almost 5 months in advance. He said there was nothing he could do, I told him for the price I was paying I could go back to Branson where I live and sleep in my own bed, his response was "I suggest you do that ma'am". I said well that is good customer service and I would definitely let his corporate office know. He said "go ahead corporate only listens to managers" !!!!! I next said I think you should discount my room since it was not what I was told I would have and his response was you are getting a discount, those rooms go for $89.00 a night and you are getting it for $80.00. I said well thank you for the 9.00 discount. Then I told him to have s nice day. I will say the other staff were very pleasant and the little lady in the morning breakfast was super accommodating. I did send a four page email to the corporate office, because I feel Mr John Waite needs some customer service training and he owed me an apology. I hope I never have to stay at this place as long as he is the manager.

The breakfast was fine. The room was clean. However, they need to fix the locks on the doors. Our lock was loose but instead of calling the Front Desk, my husband tightened up the lock. A couple of times we had trouble flushing the toilet. The staff were friendly until we complained about the internet. The Internet did not work in our room (225) at all. If we stepped outside the door and walked a few feet toward the lobby, then we were able to access the internet. I called the IT helpline and the technician informed me the room we were staying had a blockage for some reason. When I spoke to the front desk they said there was nothing they could do. John tried to provide a solution which did not work. I informed John of the block and he tried to state the block would affect more than our room. I was not going to argue with him. If we wanted an internet connection, we had either stand outside in the hallway (which was stuffy) or go to the Lobby to log on. They need to inform people before they check in that the Internet DOES NOT work in Room 225. Omission is the same as lying. I noticed the sofa in the Lobby is in dire need of some cleaning or replaced. I happened to notice the receptacles on one wall and they were filthy. They apparently do not dust much. We had stayed here several years ago and it is not the same place. They need to do some upgrading and find out what is causing the blockage in room 225. When we asked for a discount, the manager informed us they could not provide one because the internet was free. He also stated other hotels charge for their internet. I cannot remember the last time we had to pay for internet connection. After we completed the survey, the General Manager offered us a 15% discount on our next visit. This used to be a good hotel, but they have really gone downhill. They need to do some serious upgrades. We will not be back.

This hotel is one that needs some TLC! From mold,peeling paint and rust on the ceiling tile holders to the locks loose on the doors. This hotel was bought from a local family and has been on a decline ever since. If you are looking for it you will miss it behind the railroad tracks and trees as there is no visible sign from the major highway nearby. Republic needs to bring in a new hotel and maybe force this hotel to clean up and make some upgrades. I came to my room after housekeeping had been there and found my pillows on the floor with pillow cases in one of the chairs! Not sure I want to lay my head on those! Breakfast was okay and the desk staff was nice. Oh and don't sleep in the back of the building unless you want to listen to trains rumble through all night!

Checked in on Thursday night...inspected the room which was very clean. We didn't have anywhere to put our food because there wasn't a refrigerator...not sure how this would work for a diabetic with insulin that requires refrigeration. Called the front desk to see if there was a room available with a fridge. Were told one would be brought to us, then were told it was broken & no rooms with refrigerators were available. I find it very odd & frustrating for a hotel room not to have a refrigerator. I almost feel like they just didn't want to change our rooms, but there's no way to know for sure. I could hear the train in the morning, but I'm not sure it was loud enough to wake me up or disturb me. Haven't eaten the breakfast yet.

The hotel was very nice. The only issues we had were the card keys only working half the time and the spa needs resurfaced. There were places that were crumbling and separating. The breakfasts were hot and fresh.
