I chose this hotel based on its close proximity to the highway and I was very pleased. It was clean , comfortable, and I could park my vehicle directly outside my door. The room doors all face the outside. I stayed for one night in a non-smoking double queen room on the first floor facing south.
After 10 hours on the road, my husband and I stopped for the night at the Knight's Inn. If you're looking for a modern, up to date hotel, this is not it. The furnishings are old and a little worn, but, for $65 we had a comfy bed, cold air conditioning and a hot shower! Definitely an inexpensive option for a stop for the night kinda stay!
Exterior a little rough, some trim that is loose or needs to be replaced, but lot is reasonably well kept. Parking near room. Highway close by but couldn't hear over air cinditioning. miRoom clean and cool. Continental breakfast sparse and didn't open until after six (Saturday morning?). Good spot for cheap overnight. Wouldn't recommend it for a family vacation. Saw staff when I checked in, but otherwise could have been alone.
We stayed in a double non-smoking room the first few days there and it was nice. Housekeeping came every day, the rate was reasonable and there was a small but decent spread for breakfast. The last few nights we were able to stay in a smoking room. Not as nice as the non-smoking (understandable) but still very clean. Owner was very friendly and has the funniest cats that he lets roam in the office in the evenings. All in all, great place to stay outside of Lubbock.
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and for the price per room, I wish we would've went on in to Lubbock. Chose this hotel due to convenience and it being pet friendly. The room was fairly clean. The furnishing was outdated and the mattress uncomfortable. The continental breakfast consisted of oatmeal packages...2 varieties of dried cereal and a muffin and sweet roll. Most of all...we had issues with the locks on the doors! Kept having to have keys changed because they would work one time and not the next! Felt very unsafe due to this issue! It did however have a cold a/c! Probably will not stay here again.
This is the only motel in Slaton, therefore, if you need a place to sleep, this is it! It is a no frills, basic bed and bathroom motel. There is a tv in the room, but we didn't turn it on and there is free wi-fi. It is clean and serviceable and fine for one night--and it is very budget friendly. The hotel does provide a continental breakfast, but we opted to try the Staton Bakery instead.
We were in Slaton for a softball tournament this weekend and all the hotels in Lubbuck were booked. We usually stay at Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn, ect. but those hotels were not an option this time, so we took a chance on the Knights Inn. This is a nice little hotel. It's clean, it has friendly staff, fresh breakfast items, and we'll stay here again the next we have a tournament in the Lubbock area.
We needed a room in or near Lubbock, but since it was a home game weekend for Tech, many rooms were already booked. We decided on this hotel because it was convenient to Lubbock and also affordable. The room was perfectly fine - spacious, clean, and the wifi was good. The breakfast was pretty lacking, but that was fine. All in all, I am glad we didn't overspend by choosing another big-name hotel because this served our needs at a good price.
The hotel is old but well kept in terms of cleanliness. Mattress is very uncomfortable and prevents a quality night's sleep. Continental breakfast is extremely limited with no real healthy options. It is an OK place to stay for an overnight while traveling to a final destination.
room had bad smell and had to go buy air-fresher so we could stay could not find ice machine any where
