For starters, all of the staff are immensely accommodating and nice. From my initial check-in to being seated at a a table for dinner and drinks, everyone was so nice. You get what you expect, and then some, from this truly remarkable establishment.

Our check-in experience was great. We arrived early and not only was it no problem to check in early, but when I asked if the room had a river view the woman at the desk upgraded us to a nicer room than we had reserved.
The website clearly states that there is a pool. The pool has been ripped out for quite some time. I realize to many this is not a big deal, but to a 4-year-old it was devastating. I chose this hotel for the location and beautiful ambiance, but I made absolutely sure that there was a pool for my kid. So disappointing. Breakfast also took FOREVER despite being not particularly busy. But the room was great, staff were professional.
The interior of the property is immaculate and pleasing in décor. The view from my window was a roof top and maintenance equipment. One of the reasons I selected the Garden Inn was because it was right on the riverfront. The view was very disappointing. The property was also quite noisy. I could hear people slamming doors all night.
