Customer service sucks. Rooms not too bad. My daughter had trouble checking in. I added her to reservation. They forgot and wasn't going to give her a key. Don't expect much customer service. They don't care.

The summary of the hotel that I read described a "continental breakfast" each morning. This was misleading to say the least. Normally, I would expect a continental breakfast to perhaps have some bagels, pastries, coffee, juice, maybe some fresh fruit. However they actually had was a tiny table in the lobby with coffee, and then some pre-packaged muffins and a handful of granola bars. The exact bare minimum of what could possibly be called breakfast. It was very disappointing.

very comfortable, nice staff, good locatiin nice rooms

This is a fine hotel, and I am genuinely puzzled by the negative reviews some have given it. As my title suggests, the hotel is tastefully appointed, clean and well managed, and very quiet. It is an "extended stay" format hotel, so maid service is once a week and there is an (optional) extra charge to rent kitchen implements, but this is a restful and comfortable place overall. The only negative feedback I would offer is that the staff, while polite, are consistently aloof and distant, and thus less welcoming and professional than they might be.

Very convenient Simi Valley location. Room was clean & comfortable. Amenities are good. Kitchen supplies and hair dryer must be requested, however.

The last time I stayed I had an amazing experience, Jenn at front desk was awesome! My room was perfect everything was great. This past week I stayed for 1 night only and it was horrible. They put me in a smoking room after I requested non-smoking, the floor in the hallway was wet there was towels on the floor in front of my room for the whole time I was there even when I left. The bathroom counter was dirty and so were the shower walls. The room smelled bad and the bed did too. I was there for a school thing so I was up reading all night but it was disappointing since my last stay was sooo good! The lady who checked me in barely spoke English, I had to repeat myself numerous times, when I had called about the room being smoking and not what I requested she put me on hold and never came back to the phone! Who does that!

The price is cheap but it's not in a nice neighborhood. The room had a funny smell but the staff was helpful in changing our room quickly.

Paid for two queen beds. Ended up having 1 bed during my 3 day stay. Would not accommodate even though was already paid upfront

I stayed 2 years back it was nice.. Basically i am from NJ i visited couple of time to SImivalley. I like about this hotel is location.

Room - Clean, and comfortable Breakfast - Average (Grab 'n go). Includes: apples, oranges, instant oatmeal, coffee, tea, muffins, and cereal bars. They can do better with more variety. Location - Alright. A bit of a ride to/from LA, if you are a tourist. Price - Not bad, and it was 4th July weekend.

The employees were very friendly, and I would stay here again. The rooms were Very Clean, I've been to other Hotels in this area, and they put them to shame.

I would have given a five, but the breakfast was horrid. They did not even have real milk or cream for coffee.

I like the hotel. At first I requested a non smoking single room upstairs. The lady in the front desk said come back half and hour and when I came back in they gave me a handicap room downstairs. She told be while i was checking in that check out was at 11 but i can call and ask for 12. when i called in the morning, they said i needed to get out by 11. The location was nice but i was kind of far from westlake village. I like staying at Extended Stay America because it is nice rooms and renovated. I wish the staff was a little nicer and was more accurate when they say something.

This was a very nice trip. We were there for a family emergency and this hotel took a lot of our stress away. Being able to just relax and sleep comfortably, made all the difference.

Bedsheets and comforter were on the floor when we walked in after a long day at the Cajun Festival. Also there was used dental floss and some chewed fruit on the counter. Obviously housekeeping was not really the best. Although they gave us a complimentary room, we had to go 20 minutes out of our way to get to the other Extended Stay as our hotel in Simi Valley was fully booked. Then when we arrived at Northridge Extended Stay, I felt as if they were thinking we were trouble-makers. The staff had a security guard in very close proximity. That was also a terrible hotel. The mattresses were like sleeping on wires. Probably their usual "complimentary" room.
