We stayed for a week and overall we were happy. The staff were great, helpful, honest and friendly. The room was a good size, everything was in working order, the bathroom was clean. We enjoyed use of the pool and having free cooled drinking water was great. The restaurant had a fair range of options and the included breakfasts were really tasty. Overflow is located a little out of town which was fine, there was always a friendly and reasonably priced tuk-tuk either on site or available within 5 minutes. However a down side for us was something out of control of 'Overflow'. We may have just been unlucky but the loud amplified music and chanting which was played locally adversely affected our stay. We realise this is a cultural practice, though for us being woken up twice at 5am, experiencing 4 days out of 7 with some level of noise and sometimes hearing loud music continually through the day until 21:00 means unfortunately we wouldn't choose to stay here again which is a real shame because there was so much to like about 'Overflow'.

Quiet hotel, far from town.

Overflow Guesthouse is ok if you want to be away from town. Probably 2 1/2 stars. It is located 10 mins away from Pub street and the road is a little bumpy. Distance wise is not too bad but for Cambodian standards is far and tuk tuks will charge four dollars (that adds fast) definitely use the hotel’s tuk tuk when possible that is only $2 dollars each way. They forgot to pick me up. The bicycles that are available are so old that the people in the hotel recommended to take tuk tuk. Is nice that they have a pool however there are no cocktails. They sell can beer and healthy smoothies. If you are the party type keep in mind the distance and no alcohol. The room was spacious, simple and clean but the shower was broken. There is no elevator so depending on the room you will have to climb three floors with your heavy suitcase. Lots of different insects around in and out of the room and geckos everywhere. The fans are connected between rooms so if someone smokes in one room all the smoke will come to yours too. The people working there were really wonderful and helped me organizing all the tours as soon as I arrived. Breakfast included was great to start the day and the food was good.

Nice place but unfortunately flooded

Let me start with the good, its actually quite a nice place with good staff, nice rooms, good eating options, a pool and a rooftop. The bad was that due to it being in a more undeveloped area and being very rainy the streets were flooded for about a 1km radius and this made getting around quite difficult, not impossible but challenging. This is obviously not the fault of the hotel since it affects the whole area and maybe it's only this extreme certain times of year (I was there early October) but it's definitely something to keep in mind when booking your trip.

A place that you always relax

I had been stay for 4 nights here, It is a good experience since it is my first time to Siem Reap. All the staff is friendly and helpful. They always come with smile. And it is comfortable and relax when stay there. It's happy that i had choose this stay

Restful, Accommodating, Getaway.

This guesthouse is tucked away outside of the city, but not too far. It is far enough to enjoy a peaceful tuk tuk ride into town when needed, but not too far that it takes forever. The ride is about 8 - 10 minutes. The staff was very wonderful to accommodate any of your needs. The food is also very good. If you want to stay near the pool for an afternoon or morning you can do that as well. I saw bad reviews on here, and it seems those reviews are from old management. I got to meet the manager and he said he recently bought the place. He is a wonderful man and works hard to make sure you are comfortable and rejuvenated. You can tell they go the extra mile. I was unaware before I booked my reservation, but they conveniently have laundry services at a good price. That is helpful especially if you are traveling for a while and have limited clothing. I don't think you will regret staying here. It is truly a wonderful place to serve your needs while in Siem Reap.

Das Overflow Guesthouse war ein sehr angenehmes Hotel. Durch den kostenlosen Abholservice vom Flughafen hat man eine komfortable Anreise und bei der Ankunft kümmerte man sich sehr herzlich um uns und gab uns allerlei Informationen zur Unterkunft und Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind ganz nett eingerichtet und erfüllen ihren Zweck total. Wir waren über den Fahrradverleih allerdings sehr verärgert. Der kostenlose Fahradverleih war ein Hauptgrund, wieso wir uns für dieses Hotel entschieden, da wir damit früh morgens zu den Angkor-Tempeln fahren wollten. Als wir dann losfuhren mussten wir nach 2km und morgens um halb 5 in Siem Reap feststellen dass ein Rad kaputt war und wir nicht weiterfahren konnten. letztlich mussten wir ein recht teures TukTuk nehmen. Entschuldigt hat sich keiner für die Umstände bei uns. Das kostenlose Frühstück ist außerdem sehr dürftig. Essen sollte man generell lieber außerhalb des Guesthouses.

Venligt personale men ligger lidt afsidigt. Dog fint i forhold til Angkor Wat og med super service af deres chauffør. Køkkenet lukkede lidt for tidligt (kl 17) men god deal m nabo restaurant/hotel som havde rigtig god mad.
