Arrived on NYE and enjoyed the sumptuous special buffet dinner and show around the pool with all the other guests. Our stay in Siem Reap was wonderful and the Hotel enhanced that with great facilities and wonderful food and service by the staff. Highly recommended
We stayed here for 3 nights and found the place to be good a bit dated but nice location close to attractions and night market activities Good breakfast and free airport transfers was included in rate.. recommend a stay if going for Angkor Wat
Positives -- (i) great location; just a short 5-min tuk tuk ride to Pub St and downtown Siem Reap. (ii) overall good breakfast, but not much variety day to day. (iii) friendly staff willing to assist and rooms were refreshed well on a daily basis (iv) clean rooms. (v) great outside pool area that is very relaxing (vi) complimentary round-trip airport transfer Negatives -- (i) very hard mattresses that may inhibit a comfortable night's sleep (ii) dark hallways and outdated furniture that may -- depending on personal preferences -- feel like an old abandoned wooden castle. (iii) exorbitant charges for making local (siem reap) phone calls. At check out, I was presented with a bill totaling approximately $10 USD for 3 phone calls that I made to local siem reap numbers for no more than 2 min in total length. I did not see any notice of such charges in the room nor have I ever experienced such charges elsewhere. It was ridiculous, but I didn't complain as I was rushing to the airport. Do not make any phone calls from your room if you can avoid it! Overall, this is a comfortable and extremely convenient hotel. It provides all the essentials, but does not excel in any one category. It's a hotel that should be considered by travelers to Siem Reap, but I will not return for another stay.
The Prince was the perfect location to explore Siem Reap from, five minutes by Tuk Tuk to Pub Street, a Supermarket just across the road (1ltr Jim Beam US10.50) and restaurants everywhere. The Hamburger by the pool was a real winner, The pool refreshing and most importantly the staff were there is we needed them, otherwise they just left us to our holiday. Would definately stay again, only differance is next time would request a ground floor room.
Stayed for 4 nights in December with my wife. Excellent maintenance of room, separate shower and bath, free group/couple spa, sauna and steam. Breakfast has a range. Very friendly staff. Centrally located. Originally I have booked for some dates and later on I have requested to shift the dates due to missing connecting flight. The reservations head Sophorn has happily moved the dates without any extra charge. Agoda too helped us promptly in shifting the dates.
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The location was perfect, close to town, restaurants and markets. The pool was lovely and relaxing. All the staff were really friendly and quick with a hello. I would recommend this hotel if you want a 5 star hotel close to town.
I was a little apprehensive booking this hotel because it wasn't rated "the best" but we were nicely surprised to get "the best" for our money, and a great experience of Siem Reap as a result. We needed a place with connecting rooms as the teens are too big to share a bed. No where on the internet does it indicate that the hotel offers connecting rooms but I contacted the hotel directly and confirmed that we were able to book a pair for a good off season rate. The rooms were very clean and nice. The salt water pool was a lovely treat and bigger than I remembered from the ads. The breakfast buffet was really good (not super, but good enough and certainly better than your typical bed and breakfast offering). Staff were super friendly and helpful. They helped us book a private tour guide and van with driver for our sightseeing and I would highly recommend that. A private guide, driver, and aircon van for less than U$100 for the whole day is a real bargain (doesn't include various entry fees/day passes to the temples). If you've made it all the way there to see the ruins, don't cheap out! Our guide, Mickey, was SUPER and I would highly recommend him. He helped us navigate through crowds, explain things in detail, showed us things that typical walk-about tourists would have missed (Thanks Mickey!). Location was really convenient too (though we didn't walk about the area that much).
We recently stayed at the hotel in Siem Reap. We were a party of seven. Based on on our experience during the stay we would like to provide the following comments. We were received at the airport in a very timely manner. When we arrived at the hotel from the airport we were treated very courteously. We loved it. Our rooms were ready. Our rooms were very clean and the service was very good. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel. The food was good, the service was very good. The staff and the managers were all very good. On departure we were treated very well the service was once again very good. We all would like to thank the staff at the hotel and the staff at the restaurant. We had a very good experience. We will make sure when we visit again we will stay with you.
We stayed just 1 night with group of friends. Hotel was chosen by friends and it was really nice clean with beautiful big swimming pool and gym, also had pool table. Buffet breakfast was good. Rooms were spacious clean and nice pool view from a balcony. Overall was pleasant experience.
