Please avoid this hotel if you are looking for a decent hotel. It is far worse than a four stars hotel. Furnitures in room look very old and dusty; bed is hard. Wanted to use the bathtub but some hair found on it, so I gave up... Renovation is going on in this hotel, I am glad to see that but I don’t think I will return.

I've stayed in GM Shenzhen in the last couple of years so many times that I lost counting. I never left the hotel unsatisfied, the staff is quite good, the breakfast and the rooms are good as well. I think some renovation should happen in the upcoming years as some place are getting aged (especially spa areas and some room furniture). One little complain about my last stay: It was very sad to see a pregnant lady with a big belly working, running up and down during breakfast peak hours. I felt sorry for her. I think she was some kind of manager but still I am sure that for the last couple of weeks of her pregnancy you could've find her some calmer place. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

Disappointing. Decent location. Low quality people at reception. Room ok but run down. Bed made of solid concrete. No bar in late evening. Breakfast so so. All in all disappointing: not what I would expect from a luxury hotel...

Hotel looks old, however once inside the hotel this place is well patronalised by frequent visitors. Check in and out of hotel went very well with efficient front office staff. I was upgraded to a huge room which I thought was very nice of the management, the bed was very comfy and also had good sleep since this area is very quiet. The MTR staion is very close to the hotel and using the MTR going around Shenzhen is very easy and cheap riding on the MTR. Taking the MTR can be very squeeze in the rush hour. I will come back to this hotel should I go back to Shenzhen.

The Good: It's across the road from the Futian Bus Terminal. The Bad: They make you fight for LeClub Accor points. They set a high minimum nightly rate to post them immediately. If you don't pay a fortune for the room, then they make you fight with customer service for it. Conclusion: AVOID this hotel. PS. Water pressure in shower was extremely weak.

I have stayed here many times before - its not a bad hotel at all - OK location very close to Metro - not much around there for westerners but easy enough to jump on the metro a few stations and explore. Good breakfast - make sure to ask for barista coffee and tell them exactly how you like it.

Stayed there for one night, enjoyed the quite environment, big room and comfortable bed. One of the best thing was the location of the hotel, extremely near mtr station, yet there's not many shops and restaurants near the hotel.

The hotel is very near the MTR station. The hotel lobby is not attractive, but the rooms are very good. I am gold member and have a upgraded room with sea view. I came to run the marathon and ordered some rice at 5:00 AM on 17 December 2017. I got the rice in time. I also got the welcome drink. The service was very good. I tried the massage as well. The price is acceptable.

A great improvement since my last stay. The rooms were immaculate and received great service. Unfortunately the executive lounge was not open for breakfast during the October national week, however was available during cocktail hour. Breakfast in the main restaurant was fantastic with a good selection of western food . But what I do like about this hotel is being able to access youtube without a vpn. I don't know how they can do this in Mainland China. A great job by the management of Grand Mercure Shenzhen.

This was our fourth stay in this great hotel. Staff treated us as a family member coming back. Housekeeping staff made the room as comfort as possible and as we requested before. Concierge staff looked after our numerous packages ordered online. The stay was another great experience in Shenzhen, our favorite city in China. Unfortunately, the quality of breakfast and happy hour has declined, probably due to budget cuts. Hope the hotel keeps the standard of services and food and we would like to take it as our home in Shenzhen.
