Once again a very pleasant stay, extremely quiet bedroom and a wonderful hearty breakfast. This hotel has a great central location and also offers underground parking!! We are looking forward to returning soon.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel. The location was right next to the cathedral, and walking distance to everywhere. The services were really good, breakfast was very complete and tasty. The room was nice. Would recomend it!

We stayed here for one night and wish we could've stayed a bit longer. The central location makes this hotel perfect for exploring Rouen city center on foot. The hotel itself is very nice with decent rooms and a cool lobby with artwork. The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. The one challenge was finding the hotel as the address is incorrect or Google Maps and GPS and so forth do not have the correct address for this hotel (at least back in July when we visited). But I recommend this hotel.

We stayed one night and the room was excellent. They had even upgraded us as we were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. The hotel is in an excellent area to visit the town as it is close to everything. We had a great view of the cathedral when the sun rose. Breakfast was included in the rate and was ok. Very quiet and plenty to choose from. The only downfall was locating the hotel. Streets have now been blocked off to traffic and therefore the GPS could not find it. Parking is available underground and very safe.

The Mercure Rouen Centre Cathedral Hotel was typical of the chain's other hotels. It is very clean and up to date. The rooms are small - same as most European hotels. The breakfast was ok. One of the reasons that we stay at the Ibis chain is because they usually have extensive breakfast selections. We got there in the last hour of breakfast, with lots of other people. They were out of a number of items. The coffee machine wasn't making any coffee with milk. The croissants were overdone. But it was adequate and clean. The hotel is in an excellent location. We walked to all of the sites, very pedestrian area. Has private parking in the basement. We drove but it was a challenge finding the place. The navigation system sent us to the wrong place. Fortunately, we saw some signs on the street that directed us there.

We stayed in this hotel with our children in June. We had a room on the second floor facing the street that had a double bed and a couch that converted to a bunk bed for the two kids. The hotel was clean, modern, and in great shape. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and spoke English. The best thing about this hotel was the location. You could not ask for a better or more central place to stay in Rouen. One issue to note is that we were not able to park the car in the hotel lot and had to use a public lot. Check with them before arriving because it seems that their lot fill up quickly. Since the public lot was affordable and close by I would not see this as a deal breaker.

Location : unbeatable. Reception : good, polite and helpful Room : I booked a suite, which was split level. The room air was stale, so I had to air the room all day. Generally clean. Cramped toilet. Firm bed (good). Room shows some wear and tear and housekeeping could be better. Wifi slow and inconsistent. Breakfast : rather good actually with a large range of choices. Overall, a positive experience.

This hotel was a breath of fresh air. We had been travelling in Europe for about 18 days and enjoyed the size of the room, the cleanliness and modern facilities. Food for breakfast and dinner was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay with excellent location.

Visit Rouen and in particular this hotel every October on a shopping trip. This hotel is convenient for Rue Gros Horlage , the wonderful cathedral and of course the fashionabl shops . Hotel is comfortable , clean and friendly. It is one of the hotels in Rouen that has parking facilities.

Very attractive hotel in superb location in central Rouen. Rooms were generously sized and attractive. Staff was very helpful. Only one minor concen: parking in hotel, while not unreasonably priced, is in a very, very small underground garage that was difficult to maneuver even for a very small car, so be forewarned.
