I really enjoyed the experience. I went to the hotel while driving my way to Orlando. I went with couple of my friends and they enjoyed the stay as well. The hotel was newly renovated when I stayed. I stayed at the same hotel last year as well, and I was able to see a drastic difference The staff was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. I would strongly recommend this hotel.
spend one night on my way for Jacksonville, great service, room was clean and renovated. happy with my stay. owner and staff very friendly and helpful, high speed wifi, would love to stay again........................!!
This hotel has a really good stuff and always willing to help. The rooms them self were great all renovated bed were soft and comfortable. The only down side was that the breakfast room was closed but they provided with Continental breakfast. The management told us that the room will be ready by next week. Before I booked a room I was not sure if wanted to stay after reading reading what other people said but once I arrived I was amazed. They are making the office more welcoming by renovating the ceiling and the desk area.
My husband and I stayed overnight on our way up north. Had read other reviews that this hotel had been newly renovated. To our surprise, there was construction going on in the lobby right in the breakfast area. Evidently, our room was not one that was renovated. Did not mind too much that the room was very small, but the locks on the door were broken, the fridge didn't work, the smoke detector was pulled off and not replaced, no switchplates for the electrical outlets, the a/c kept turning on and off and very noisy, the bed was super high and impossible for me (I'm 4'11") so I slept on the chair, the pool area had broken concrete and wood scattered on it, no hooks in the bathroom, shower head was broken, microwave was dirty and old, grounds were disgusting with trash and bottles scattered all over, no handicapped parking, laundry area was a mess, no elevator, tv that didn't work was lying in a hallway, back parking lot had large dumpsters overflowing with trash and construction materials. This hotel is definitely in serious need of a total renovation. But if there were rooms which had already been renovated, why were we not given one of those? Evidently, the management did not care. Not only was the breakfast area unclean due to construction being done in that area, but also the room in which we were in was in violation of the safety code in there was not a working smoke detector. Management should not be in charge of this hotel.
I went there with my family for my summer holidays. This place had newly renovated and clean rooms with good amenities. The staff was very welcoming and always ready to help. Also this place is at a prime location providing easy access to many places. We enjoyed our stay here.
Nice place to stay, pet friendly, lots of restaurants nearby, close to Savannah, good for the budget. They we're renovating but it didn't I make a difference, it would have been nice if the room would have had a mini fridge. For breakfast they had Belgian waffles that was included and Wi-Fi.
We made a mistake by staying here. The very low price should have been the 1st hint. When we arrived, checked in, & inspected our room we asked for another as the mattress (which we always uncover & inspect) was stained & had cigarette burns in it. The 2nd room had an acceptable mattress but little else. It smelled funny, too. The lock on the exit door at the end of the hall was broken & therefore open 24/7 making all guests vulnerable. The cleaning staff did not visit the room for clean up after the 1st nite.
After attending a seminar in Savannah and staying in this hotel I left my business phone in the room. I tried many times to contact them, I could never get anyone to answer the phone. finally when I did get someone they would not send it to me, Keep in mind this is my business phone with all my contacts. They told me I would have to send a box prepaid and they would then send it to me. I tried calling again to see if I could pay by credit card and have them send it to me right away. I was hung up on at least 3 times and one of those times someone answered that didn't even speak English and when I asked to speak to someone who could speak English she said NO and hung up on me yet again. I even tried calling the reservation line for help and they couldn't even get in touch with them. Problem is still not resolved I keep getting hung up o guess I will have to drive 6 hrs. from Atlanta to Savannah to pick up my phone. If you stay there make sure you don't leave anything behind!!!! you will have to drive or fly back to retrieve your belongings...You get NOOOO service, they gladly take your money and that's the best service your going to get.. Keep in mind I paid double because a convention was in town..
