My family booked 4 rooms (8 adults 3 children), and we had a great time. The hotel rooms were roomy, comfortable, and clean with great bonuses such as an indoor pool that's open til 11, fridges, microwaves, coffee and free parking. The hotel is in a central location and close to mall, the river, and other sites. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived after midnight and the front desk personnel accommodated our last minute request to have adjoining rooms with no complaints. I enjoyed our stay, especially for the price, and would definitely stay here again.
The name Ramada has proven over the years to have a certain quality, however this hotel was not even close. I may never stay at a Ramada again. I cannot believe in this modern time that a hotel chain with such a name for itself would allow it's self to be so dated. As well, to not even have a sparsely filled gym in this health conscious era. The price was $30 dollars less then my hotel night before but that $30 was well worth paying to have better quality stay.
There was a big hockey tournament in town and about 100 young adults drinking in the hall way on my floor yelling and had dogs and barking all night long. The room's air conditioning was not working and was extremely hot in my room.
Not the best hotel but is definately better than satisfactory. A little pricy though.
Good hotel close to all amenities.Front desk was helpful and friendly!
No airport service, but cab less than $15. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Just arrived late at night and left following day.
Our stay was short, but we like the closeness to downtown and the night scene where this hotel is located.
The hotel was newly renovated. Staff were nice. Beds were & rooms were comfortable. We have a member of our family with special needs and so had to have a fridge and a microwave. They both were new and worked well. No kids TV though, you'll have to bring your own video. The problem was the intoxicated people visiting the bar, hanging out in the lobby and staying in the rooms. Wolf howls and war whoops abounded on our arrivial & stay but the security people were always around, I felt safer because of it and the rooms were quiet. Pool was clean but no toys or mucic and the room needed work.
They had a large party for Teenagers Thursday and Friday night so the kiddies were very loud very late at night. The Room service was fast but the food was lousy. It has been 'under renovation' for the last 2 yrs and I see no improvements, things are still very run down.
