This is my second time staying here and I am going back in a few weeks. It is clean, comfortable and historic. The restaurant isn’t open right now due to Covid, but we ordered out and it was delivered to our room. I love all of the places to walk or bike in the park and if you are a golfer, it is in the middle of a top notch golf course. It is about two miles from downtown, but being able to be in Saratoga Spa State Park is worth the drive into town. There is also a huge Saturday farmer’s market at the entrance to the park that we hope to visit on our next trip.

Always a great hotel to stay in to visit the park, plenty of things to do, golf, hiking, biking, pool was open but now closed for season, restaurant by golf course for lunch, excellent, new coffee shop much more open under covid-19

I wish we knew ahead of time that this is a pet friendly hotel. There was a dog down the hall from us that barked for an hour straight and elicited many complaints. Another dog off leash walking down our hall. If we had known we would have requested a room in a different floor. The tub backed up when we showered and drained very slowly. Beds were comfortable. Pretty quiet just by way of location.

The shower could use a grab bar . I almost fell out. Luckily the sink was there. Got a workout in And a continental breakfast was included at no extra charge .. Water in the lobby was nice and infused with fruit. Some negatives were the pillows were too big and puffy. Created painful neck issues. Could not get comfortable. .

Athough the grounds are beautiful I was disappointed in my room. There was no refigerator nor honor bar in the room. The kitchen was open very limited hours. When I arrived the elevator wasn't working. The staff was friendly, but the desk clerk who waited on me was incompetent.

I liked nothing about it. The park it was located in was beautiful. There was a window air conditioner in my room. How ancient is that. No room service...and the list of negatives goes on

An elegant hotel with strong customer service. Spend a morning walking the geyser Trail in adjacent Saratoga Spa State Park, have lunch by Victoria Pool in the flowersand porticos, listen to the crickets from rockers at the ferry entrance as darkness swallows up all but the hotel. For off season. The food options were fine. The staff is friendly, talkative and genuinely interested in your stay

Everyone was super friendly and accommodating, would recommend anyone and would for sure stay here again!

I love the location, the beauty of the surroundings, the water springs nearby and the kind folks in the front desk and housekeeping. Again, front desk and housekeeping were very nice and accommodating with some special requests we made. The restaurant I would give a lower rating, both for food and service. They are very uptight about timing and made me feel uncomfortable about arriving to breakfast 15 minutes before they close. So I took breakfast to go, to not “inconvenience” them. But other than that, this place is awesome!

Staff very courteous. Very helpful in explaining me the direction of various attractions. Room was clean. Bartenders helped me with plates and forks when I brought food from outside and eat in my room.

Great shuttle to downtown Saratoga. Very friendly front desk.

Perfectly situated in the middle of the Saratoga Springs State Park. Walking distance to golf courses, Victoria Pool, spas, trails and Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Ten minutes drive to both race tracks and downtown (scores of bars and restaurants). Food was great and the stay was a pleasure. Will go back.

Hotel staff was very friendly however the hotel was oldfashioned and not quite our style. The bathroom was tiny and in need of repair. The hotel was clean however I prefer something a little more modern and closer to town.

Bathroom toilet ran all the time, bathroom door wouldn't shut, part of the wall still needed to be painted, two light didn't work. Over priced and rated

It has all the characteristics of a 1930s spa. Character, idyllic location and charm far out with slightly dated elements. Adjacent Saratoga is a pleasure too. I'll eagerly return for a longer stay to enjoy the ambiance
