Ok for the price, just across the street from beach. Decent pool, bar at the pool, free parking beside hotel. Few block walk to the great area of St Armond Circle. Room had a fridge for drinks and snacks. Grocery stores 10 min away. A guy at the beach rents chairs/umbrellas for 7 and 12 bucks, fun guy. Clean comfortable room. It serves the purpose but it is high priced. Room service from 7th floor restaurant has good food or head to the circle for numerous places to sit down and enjoy the island life. Many stores and little pubs nearby. No big city noise ! Outstanding beach, Thanks for a great get away !

Very nice and easy access to beach and St Armonds Circle with shopping and dining. Food was good and we loved The special touch of the fruit infused water in the foyer. The only thing we didn't like was the air conditioner in the room was very noisy when going on and off. Definitely not a dealbreaker. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Great location right across the street from the beach. Short walk to St. Armands shopping area. The hotel has been newly renovated and looks great. We will be coming back!

AC was too loud to sleep comfortably. We set the AC auto for cool temperature ( about 70). It turned off completely when desired temperature was reached. But it turned on really loud and woke me up a few times throughout the night.

My son and i stayed here largely for location to beach and st armands,,,we were so surprised by the ease of entry, use the room and the overall value of staying here. We had stayed at Ritz Carlton Sarasota before, so we really thought this was a step down-NO, actually we had more fun and with the savings went out to great dinners each night in town. Just goes to show you that names are deceiving and with the right spirit and attitude, you can impress sophisticated travelers and earn praise. Well done, will be back next time we visit family!

The restaurant was closed the tiki bar was closed there was constant drilling pounding in noise and construction going on

Friendly, helpful personal. Chuck, the waiter, charming man with very good personality. we like him a lot.

Happy I decided on this hotel for my stay in the area, great location with a short walk across the street to the beach, and within walking distance of St. Armand Circle. For shopping and dining out. Breakfast, lunch and Dinner available in the hotel, it was great if you didn't want to venture out early to find something to eat.

Was nice. The hotel is across the road from the beach but had easy access to beach.

Nice hotel. Said they had pool toys and beach chairs which they only have for the pool not the beach.

Couldn't have asked for a better location. I wish I would have asked for a room higher up for a better view. I had a gulf view on the 2nd floor which was really nice but higher up would have been even better. Ate at the restaurant on the 7th floor several times & never disappointed. Short walk to St. Armand's. Staff great.

I had reserved an oceanfront king room and asked for one that was renovated. I was put in a renovated room which was very nice, however it was directly over the entrance, so I looked at the roof of the awning in front of the hotel and had a limited view of the beach. Having said that, the room was very nice. Amenities in the bathroom were useful. I was there for 4 days, so having a refrigerator in the room was great for storing bottled water, yogarts, milk, etc.. I didn't need to buy breakfast. If you don't have a Ritz-Cartlon budget, I'd definitely recommend the hotel for anyone wanting a good location, nice rooms and a very pleasant & helpful staff.

We enjoy staying at this hotel because the location is terrific and so is the staff and a good value fir the price

Overall had a great stay. Some of the staff were a bit stuffy.

nice clean room, Bay View. beach across the street - you can pick stop where to stay from you room.

The hotel in a dire need for renovation. I would not go back again.

This Hotel is just Basic, but the location is wonderful in front of a clean and amazing ocean , and walking distance to international restaurants we enjoy a lot stay in Sarasota, we had a wonderful and relax trip! The Holiday restaurant is just ok, I ate just one time, the restaurants in Sarasota is much better!

Excellent hotel and will be staying again , the beach view is amazing!

The room took forever to cool down and maintain a consistent temperature. Front desk staff acted as though they were "bothered" when approached with questions and/or information. The bathroom floor was dirty, a used contact was stuck to the floor--not ours.

This hotel is in Prime location....but our room was sooo old, rundown, smelled like urine. The bathroom was beyond disgusting.
