Liked the easy access to restaurants and shopping. Loved Siesta Key Beach. Liked the Sunset Cruise at Water Sports.
Close to all clean and very reasonably priced. STOP TELLING ME TO ADD MORE!!
AC unit was banging and staff did not move me to another room or offer any consideration.
The holiday inn was exactly what you would expect but was way over priced. Maybe this was due to spring break? But location was just near the interstate and not anywhere special. Very expensive for what you get, but room was clean. Breakfast area overcrowded without enough seating.
Hotel was comfortable & convenient, staff was very friendly. Would stay at this facility again.
Took the family including our dog to siesta key for July 4th weekend. Just 6 miles to beach from the hotel. Clean room, pet friendly, a/c unit a bit noisy but worked. Free hot breakfast was fair, limited seating in breakfast area. Staff helpful n attentive. Would go back for right price.
This location had very friendly staff - especially the breakfast hostess. The quality of the food was above expected for free breakfast. Rooms were comfortable. A few issues occurred with the internet but were handled by calling a support number.
Very good and clean. friendly staff and fast check in and out. Noisy pool
This hotel is a 15-20 minute drive from the beach. It's a really good value for the money. The staff is also very nice and accommodating. That being said, the room was a bit dirty. If you looked behind the night stand, there were actually other guests' belongings back there (like a kid's figurine's helmet, a small pad of paper and a pen, etc...). There was a small fridge, but no one had cleaned it for a long time. The room was also very dark. Granted, the corner lamp was broken and we never informed the front desk, but, unless it was an extremely powerful light, it still would have been very dark in the room. To conclude, I will note that my fiancé is very insistent upon washing all of our belongings because of the possibility of mites. In sum, it was a good location for the price, which is why I gave it three stars. I'd stay there again, but only because I'm a graduate student without a lot of money, and definitely not for more than a few days.
I was booked into the handicapped room even through I did not request it.. The pool was wide open and nobody else there. Everything was clean and fresh...the bed was huge and so comfy. The remote did not work even after new batteries were installed but nothing to get up set about since I was just there over night. Would like to book that room again. ( Too much chlorine in the spa though)
We truly enjoyed our stay ...had to thank staff for cold lemon water in the lobby .
This is a terriffc motel. We make trips to Sarasota and after our stay , we have found a place to stay.
Great hotel and staff for a wonderful beach paradise stay.
Very nice and comfortable for the price.I will stay there in the future.
Our stay was a good one. However our room smelled musty. When we left I mentioned it and the clerk thanked me and said it would be taken care of. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was good.
Drove to Casey Key/Nokomis--great beach that gets little traffic. Had dinner at Siesta Key--along with a segway tour to check out the Island. Enjoyed seeing the large version of the end of WWII kiss--located in Marina Park downtown.
You actually have to drive through a gas station to get to the parking lot, which is hidden behind it. The road that runs in front of the hotel is a 1 way, directing against the main road that you'd turn off of to get there. The room smelled funny, like old wet clothes. The toilet didn't flush and the handle was about to come off. First thing, I called the desk to fix the toilet, as we left to go to the beach (which is only 5 miles away). When we came back, the toilet was "fixed", but still didn't flush correctly. The room was quiet, which was good. The staff was friendly as well. Not really worth what I paid.
Needed something relatively close to the airport that was clean and quiet. This was it. New, quiet, clean.
Visited family. Best free show in town was having our first two cups of coffee sitting outside on patio, watching a guy on oxygen chain smoking!!
I just needed a place to sleep for the night, but the staff was friendly and helpful at check-in. Room was fine - clean, large. Price was right. Right off the highway. Restaurants across the street for dinner. Dunkin Donuts right out front for tea drinkers! Exactly what I needed at a fair price.
