I needed a getaway and decided to stay at the Westin in Sarasota. We had an amazing view of the bay and the room was very clean. We actually stayed in our room, watched tv and ordered room service the entire weekend. It was pricey but well worth it as the food was delicious. I will definitely go back and stay at this property again.

The roof top pool area was beautiful the staff at the pool area were rude and were watching us like we were criminals, we gave our children chips to snack on and was told that we can only get food from the restaurant we were not allowed to give snacks we bought for our kids.

Most of the people that worked here looked and treated my friend and I as if we were not worthy enough to stay at the Westin. Bartender at the rooftop bar had no personality, did not smile whatsoever, and gave attitude when asked a simple question. She was the most unpleasant woman I’ve delt with at the Westin. Also, so expensive and was charged more money on top of the $245 we already spent for 1 night for extra fees. Ridiculously expensive and not worth the money whatsoever. Will not recommend and will not be returning.

We had a wonderful honeymoon stay and the hotel and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Wonderful spot to be in for food and activities. Would love to stay again
