Pictures on Orbitz are very deceiving. 150.00 hold on credit card???? Stayed at a Marriot the night before and only a 20.00 hold. Needed photo i.d. for both people in party, stayed at many places and this was a first?!?!

I ask for a room on the first floor and the clerk told me they weren't any available- I arrived at 9PM. While walking to my second floor room I noticed there were plenty of empty rooms due to their only being about 4 cars in the entire lot. My second issue is that even though I paid a great price it wasn't worth the fact that you will hear traffic noise all night long!

The room was clean and comfortable. We were very appreciative of being able to book a room no one had stayed in for 72 hours. One employee at the front desk was openly disdainful of my husband's wearing a mask. Given the virus situation in FL right now, we found that behavior to be unacceptable.

I was checked into a room with a door connecting ot to a syranger's room. Toilet seat not clean. Fixture over vanity not functioning. Confusing room numbers. But no bugs.

Got there and the lady told me I needed to put a $150 deposit down before we could get into the room. Will not get a room from here again

The pool , hot water pool , we love everything... Amazing

I just want to say to people that value a good price hotel, with a clean and very comfortable beds, pure white linens and a very clean bathtub, just so you know, I always shower in my flip flops, because I don't trust the cleaning process, but on this hotel I was comfort enough to shower bare feet, thank you so much lantern inn and the staff specifically (Annie) front desk was a delight and polite lady, love it everything! God bless!

great layout, perfect location, lively bar. checked in after 5 and the tiki bar was full of people having a good time. when you first enter its shared with a race track so beware of their customers exciting without regard for you. the entrance to check in is walking through the bar which i thought was super exotic

It is an older motel that has been upgraded. It still needs further work on it. It is highly overrated. Do not be fooled by others recommendations. Finally was able to get to sleep at 2:30 am as the shouting from the balcony stopped then.

Staff was excellent and the bartenders at Tiki Bar were great!

Drove to Sarasota for Spring training baseball. Stayed here one night with a friend. Counter person was away helping another customer but when she returned she was very nice and helpful. Did not use pool or tiki bar but they seemed to be busy with folks. Room seemed have been renovated recently. Was clean and functional. We had trouble with television but were tired and went to bed anyway. Would stay again.

I am sorry your stay was not up to par. We do ID's for safety reasons and deposit for our protection. Most places along the strip here have these policies. Again I apologies.

I am sorry you were not happy. It is entirely possible that even though the room may have appeared clean and ready to go, there may have be something wrong. We take pride in what we rent out...If it is not perfect we won't rent it.

While we offer affordable rates we are forced to impose incidentals. If a guest is using a credit card we place a hold in the amount of $50. If it's a debit card or cash then we ask for $150. We have had numerous incidents that forced us to take these measures.
