We had a lovely stay at SHIKKUI Cottage. The property itself is modest and charmIng and is located on a very steep hill. If you are backpacking without a car like us, make sure you’re ok trekking up and down the mountain with all your gear!

The location was interesting and I enjoyed the night walks at the canal. It is admittedly a bit far, hard to walk especially in the snow, but just take note of the bus timings!

大人数に対応していても車を1台しか停めるスペースがない。 そのわずかなスペースも、夏は草刈りされておらず足元が見えず、隠れた大きな縁石？石で車を擦りました。 雪の時期はどうなるのか、、、。
