Holiday Inn Ana Sapporo Susukino

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

We spent 3 nights in the Holiday Inn in Sapporo. The building was hard to find but when we arrived,we were treated well by the staff which took great care in helping us. Although there was a distinct communication problem language wise. other than that, the room was extremely comfortable and them location turned out to be perfect in relationship to the Sapporo Ice Festival. We ate twice at the restaurant and found the service and food first class.Special was the fact that we were given a discount when we arrived only a few minutes before the buffet closed. We would recommend this comfortable hotel for all guests.

Very friendly and helpful staff even if you don't speak much Japanese. We booked last minute and they didnt have any non smoking rooms left which was more our fault than anyone elses. They were very apologetic about this. Room was small but had everything we needed. Overall the decor is average but definitely clean and sufficiently modern. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget but still looking for an acceptable hotel room in the downtown area. Light sleepers might find its location a bit noisy. Those looking to stumble home from this area of town will love the location though.
