Mercure Hotel Sapporo

The hotel is new and clean. The staff are informative and helpful.

Location is good. Room condition is relatively new when compare it with other nearby hotels. However, there is a urine smell in the bathroom. Room size is 22m2, which is enough for your 2 suitcases.

Price and location was great. Staff and room were very nice. Room was surprisingly quiet since on main street. Would have been better if they had one English speaking Tv channel. Also, the staff had difficulty in English.

Near Subway 2 lines and shopping area around hotel. Recommended hotel.

Located in the central city, steps from the airport bus drop point and two train stations, this new property is quite convenient. The room was new and spacious. Wifi was free and fast. Only Japanese channels on the TV - but who needs that anyway?

Located semi-conveniently a block or so from an entrance to the subway, Mercure is a supremely good value for money. My main goal in Sapporo was to tour the main sights, and Mercure proved to be situated in a very walkable location. One of the better hotels I've stayed at in my travels in Japan.

Hotel is located at the center of everything! Everything is perfect!

For the price, it was better than expected! English-speaking staff a great plus! The hotel was located in a safe area, and walking distance from the local sights and sounds! Would definitely stay here again!

Very good experience, great value, perfect location. If there were a gym, pool or sauna I would give 5 overall rating

The room was fine and we actually had a queen size bed which doesn't happen a lot in Japan. The staff was helpful when it came to recommending places to eat and booking us massages. We ate at the buffet breakfast and it was TOO expensive for what we ate. We also didn't like that the resturant wasn't open all day or how much they wanted to charge for their meals. We went skiing one day while in Sapporo and it would have been great if the hotel would of had a hot tub so we could have soaked in it after skiing.
