The hotel was clean, upscale, and convenient. We went to Sapporo for the Snow Festival and the Sapporo View Hotel is directly across the street from the Odori Park site. It was a quick walk to the Ice Festival in Susukino and an easy Uber or taxi ride anywhere we went. There are many good dining options surrounding the hotel.

The efficiency of the hotel. Room was spacious and the beds very comfortable.
Afternoon complimentary snacks and drinks in the lounge.
Breakfast was reasonably priced and the buffet superb. Although would have loved Gluten Free bread.
Very close proximity to Theodore park for the ice sculptures.

Clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious. The location is unbeatable; we had a panoramic view of Odori Park from our room.
Cleaning up requests wasn't quite at par with expectations of a 4-star Japanese hotel. Dust accumulation under the bed and bedside tables were surprising - as if the room wasn't vacuumed for years. The sofa bed was reasonably comfortable dakedo dusty, and gave me a runny nose.
Overall, we had a great time and the staff were all too happy to help us out. Our initial room had a water leak and they moved us to a bigger room for safety reasons (slip trip and fall).
Breakfast buffet was quite good to start off the day exploring Sapporo. Would definitely be back (hopefully for a better rate ahaha). Mata ne!

Room was okay. Half the lights in the room did not work and not very bright, needs to be fixed. Freezer didn’t work well (all my ice cream melted). There was some dust under and behind the bed. TV was very poor quality with limited channels. Bathroom is nice and spacious. Good amenities: new towels every day, coin laundry, and a communal lounge with free drinks and snacks. Staff is super friendly and helped us forward our luggage.
This was probably a very nice hotel in the 80's. But it now has a very dated and well used look and feel to it. It is still clean. Not like a 80's hotel 6.
We stayed here twice. First stay was 2 nights, second stay was 1 night.
first stay was in a single bed room. Bed was rock hard. Room was clean, but worn out. The AC controls did nothing. The room was so hot, we had to open the window, in Sapporo in oct. It is cold enough to wear a coat and stocking cap out side during the day. The windows only open a crack, so they did very little to help out. The toilet was in the shower room, so you had to get creative with how to get 2 people showered and still be able to take a bath. Plus the room needed a update.
Second night was in a double bed room. Different floor. The temp in this room was better. We could at least sleep. The bed was rock hard. The toilet was in its own room, so we could shower and take a bath. So that was a upgrade. But the room still needed a update.
We did not get the breakfast option. Or use the parking. The hotel was a walk from the train station. The covered shopping street was about 5 minutes. Lots of stores and food options. The underground mall was about the same distance.
We found the best izakaya in sapporo. Crispy Japanese fried chicken. Curry and rice. Yuzu Highballs. We went there twice during our stays. Sapporo Zangi Hompo. Its small, so get there right when they open, or call and get a reservation. Its worth it
