We booked this hotel for 3 nights primarily for its view of the caldera, infinity pool and proximity to the town centre - and on all of those counts it was a very good choice. It's a part of the Small Luxury Hotels chain and it lived up its name, although it's definitely on the smallest end of the chain with only a handful of rooms for 10 guests which means no things like a gym or spa. BUT what it does have is very very good - excellent service, fantastic views, and a very cool relaxed and intimate vibe right in the heart of it all. We had room 9, downstairs from the pool which we loved as it gave us our own private balcony (where we could watch the sea endlessly and have breakfast served every morning). It was a really good size (and the bathroom was amazing) - frankly so long as you are ok with a relatively narrow winding staircase I'd say this was the best room in the hotel. From champagne and a welcome tray of goodies on arrive, to the porter services to the views to die for this is a very stylish accomodation option. High recommended for the discerning traveller.

Extraordinary views especially from the pool, which was great given the heat. The room was ample and comfortable. All of the rooms are not the same, suggest doing further due dilligence before final selection of your room. Outstanding service provided by the employees of the hotel. The daily breakfast which is included and customized to ur taste is delicious. The only negative is that there are not enough chairs by poolside. Other than that, we highly recommend this hotel for its service, accommodations and location in Fira.

This was the 2nd time we stayed, (5 days last year) Katerina at the front desk remembered immediately who I was and gave my wife and I the same room as last year (one closest to the pool) it is large, has a jacuzzi and a private dinning/daybed area above the room -best in the house- Katerina and Alexander are professional/courteous/knowledgeable and go above and beyond for the guests. They book everything for you and manage to time and time again get you the best seat in any restaurant!!! Fantastic service, The rooms have been totally renovated and updated and this property will blow your mind, the position is perfect and the hotel has arguably the best pool in Santorini. We will be coming back, I would not stay anywhere else.

I celebrated there my mom's birthday, it was lovely! We are very thankful to Katerina! She is an amazing person who is always ready to help you and give you best advices for restaurants, cruises and etc. I hope to come back here next summer!

This was one of the best hotels we've stayed at! Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, location was right in the centre of Fira, room was sensational and the pool even more amazing! Cannot recommend this place enough - absolute perfection!!

Loved every minute we spent at the hotel. MUST STAY HERE! The view was unbelievable from the infinity pool -- it can't be beat! We were given a complimentary room upgrade and had an amazing view of the caldera from our private balcony. We were in room 6 which does have a balcony up a staircase, which we didn't mind at all. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very modern with amenities. We had no issues with noise, they are cave-like and had low ceilings, so just watch your head!. Location was in the heart of downtown Fira and walking distance to all shops, restaurants, bus stand, etc. The staff was incredibly helpful and always smiling! They helped arrange excursions for us including a catamaran sail and wine tasting. They give you a phone to use on the island in case yours doesn't work (which mine didn't). They went the extra mile in every way possible. We had a late night flight after check-out and we were thoroughly able to enjoy the hotel even after check-out. Katerina specifically made us feel like we were family! Even before our stay, Katerina was very responsive via email and gave great recommendations of places to try around the island. Alex and Michael were great to work with as well! We arranged our transport through them and had no issues.

Lovely boutique hotel. Room and pool lovely areas. Like previous poster's tip, ensure you do not book rooms under dining area stairs/kitchen. The pool area provided a great landscape for photos. Breakout areas outside of rooms helped with restricted pool-side seating. Not a big issue anyway as most people out sightseeing most of our stay. Great location and so close to the centre of Fira (outside door). We really liked the accommodation. Service was a little mixed. Senior receptionist was fantastic and spot on with her service. Others let the hotel down 'a little'. All minor service things that add up. Forgot to deliver items to room said they would; repeatedly left items off breakfast order (never did get muesli the whole stay, never got milk for coffee unless asked). Got misled on exit trip to airport. Persuaded away from direct taxi to their private transport option. Private transport was their code for 'van that stops and picks other people and takes longer than a direct taxi'. Annoying as the guy knew I didn't want that type of trip...i guess he got his kickback. One other minor thing was on checkout ;our flight was 11pm that night. We asked if we could pay a surcharge to stay and use the hotels facilities. They declined which was fine but the guy on reception said we could use the hotel facilities but with an exception - if a guest came along we had to move for them. I mean, how does that work? Person walks over to the pool and reception come over and tell us to vacate seat and move where? Embarrassing all round I'd guess. Just better to say on checkout they are a small boutique hotel and full and that they can help store our luggage. Still, i'd recommend this hotel for the view and accommodation - sensational.

Lovely hotel and staff with picture perfect views. However, we were in room 10 which is down a very narrow spiral staircase underneath the breakfast area - this wouldn't be that accessible for all guests as it's very steep and narrow. The room itself is a good size and really nicely finished with a private balcony (not looking into the pool) so it is completely private. Few issues were; there are 2 rooms off the spiral stair case (I think rooms 9 and 10) and they are effectively below the breakfast area. This means any form of lie in after 7.30am is impossible as you can hear talking and banging in the kitchen as well as other guests moving chairs and talking to hotel staff 2 levels above the room as everything echoes down the spiral stairs. This was very disappointing as meant it wasn't as peaceful and quiet as it should have been given the cost! The pool area is small, there's 6 lounges and can only really cater for 3 rooms out of 10 at a time. This isn't really a hotel for lounging by the pool as there just isn't the space. Generally, hotel was very clean and quiet (except for breakfast time and the echoing staircase) and does have exceptional views and a great location in Thira.

This hotel was amazing! Always very nice and accommodating. The view of the ocean and the pool were one in a million views. We are from the US and all hotel staff spoke very well English which was nice. We were close to many restaurants and in the center of town of Fira. The hotel also upgrading us to the honeymoon suite free of charge because it was available which was great!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Cosmopolitan Suites for 3 nights in early June. We had what we both thought to be one of the best trips of our lives. Santorini is absolutely stunning, but the Cosmopolitan Suites and its staff made the stay even sweeter. The grounds are gorgeous (on par with what you will find at world leading hotels) - the rooms are gorgeous, clean and spacious - the infinity pool is one of the best on the island - the food and service is spectacular. Another important note: The service from all of the staff is some of the best we've ever experienced (we've stayed at more than a few world leading hotels). The staff, especially the manager Katerina and the shift manager Paris, went above and beyond in ensuring that we felt unequivocally pampered. While on the island, we went and visited some of the other top hotels on the island, each of which cost 2-5x as much per night as the Cosmopolitan. What we found is that the Cosmopolitan is right up there with the best of the island, only much more exclusive and with extremely personal service. Overall, there is no question in our minds as to why this is a 'Small Leading Hotel of the World'. They truly deserve the title.
