The Vedema is a quiet little resort within a quiet little village on the island of Santorini. The staff is friendly and most accommodating. The stay was peaceful and regenerative.
Great location is the plus, the breakfast(the best in all santorini) & we had just come from Katikies. On that note the hotel staff was highly disorganized. All my money was taken from my luggage-no "promised follow up has ever been received. The onsite wine cellar hotel restaurant...is by far the most over rated, over priced food we had. It was muddy duddy. Perhaps that the best way to describe the hotel...sorta Funddy Duddy. No need to stay longer than a day, theres just so many there amazing hotels to explore. Do not meet expectation at all and the whole last minute money thieving incident just put the cherry right on top. AVERAGE!

Dear Wonderlust, Thank you for taking the time to write about Vedema, A Luxury Collection Resort. I am very happy you enjoyed the resort’s breakfast and location. I am sorry our restaurant did not meet your expectations. If you had shared your remarks with the staff when you were there, I am sure we would have found a way for you to enjoy your dinner. I am terribly sorry for the missing money incident. We had no report on missing money while you were staying with us, except upon your checkout. I asked you to give me some time to investigate and follow up with you but you told me it was not necessary. Despite that, I came back with a member of the restaurant’s staff, as we never leave incidents of this nature without following up. You said that it did not happen on that day but the previous one. As such, upon your request, I did not follow up further. Allow me to tell you that we are deeply sorry for the incident and that we had every intention to look further into the matter, if you would have asked us to. I would like to apologise in case the resort did not meet your expectations, but I do hope that nonetheless your trip to Santorini is a pleasant memory. Sincere Regards,
