Very beautiful hotel but unfortunately, they are completely dishonest about room allocations. DO NOT ASSUME THAT YOU WILL GET THE ROOM YOU HAVE PAID FOR! This seems to be happening on a regular basis and happened to two other couples whilst we were there. One couple who had booked a Jnr suite 6 months ago for a four day trip were kept waiting for their room for 4 hours and then allocated a lesser room for the same price! Reception refused to reimburse them the difference or put them in the room they had originally booked and there was no manager to be seen. We left when they were 2 days into their Holliday and they are still trying to get the hotel to honour their booking or reimburse them the difference. They were left extremely stressed and reception did not care. Their stay was ruined and they had travelled all the way from the US. We arrived on Tuesday at 2pm and were offered an 'upgrade'. We were happy to accept and taken to room 110. This is a dated dark and tired room next to rubble and rubbish, overlooking unkept shrubbery. It is clearly used as an overspill room for unlucky customers when they have double booked. Compared to other rooms (like some of the other higher up rooms) it has clearly not been updated in years. All fixtures are old and dusty the bed is like a loft bunk up in the ceiling, reached by a very shaky wooden loft ladder with steps that don't fit the whole of your foot. You hit your head on the ceiling as you climb up its so low. We went straight back to the receptionist who had lied about it being an upgrade and requested the CLASSIC room that we had originally booked and paid for, since this was clearly NOT an upgrade. We were told that the hotel was fully booked and that there were no other rooms available and that they would contact reservations and 'try' and give us another room the next day. I expressed how angry I was with the downgrade and the with whole situation. The classic rooms are modern, very comfortable, heated floors, power showers, modern decor, etc. I showed her a picture of the classic room that we had booked and She told me that the pictures on the website were not necessarily pictures of the rooms that were available to book, as they couldn't put up pictures of all the rooms that they had. I said that this was ridiculous and dishonest of them and that it did not say this anywhere on their booking details and I asked for the manager. She said that the manager would be in the following day at 12pm. I reiterated that we would not be staying in this room beyond that night and would camp out by the pool until they found us another room. There was no manger to be seen for the 5 days that we were there. Thankfully the next day they put us into the classic room that we had originally booked (number 45) which was by the pool and perfect. However, they did not compensate us or offer a goodwill gesture or apologise for the one night that we had to stay in the basic room - 110. As a result, and since this seems to be a regular occurrence with this hotel, we would not book with them again, especially after reading about all the other people they have done the same thing to. At least we weren't on our honeymoon or paying big money for a Jnr suite! Disgraceful and dishonest behaviour from a hotel. On a positive note, the rest of the staff were lovely. The views breathtaking and the island gorgeous. If you want a quad bike book through the hotel as it's cheaper €30 for 310cc as opposed to the hire places outside which charge €40 - €50. Busses are good and cheap too. The red beach was a bit of a disappointment and very crowded with a not so nice beach. But Perissa, with its black sand beach, bars and restaurants was lovely. You can get cheap breakfasts in Thira (€6) rather than pay €14 for hotel breakfasts. If you are on a budget, buy alcohol on your way in at duty free and keep in your hotel room fridge as hotel drinks can be expensive. Our favourite mid priced restaurant was POSIDONIA, in Imerovigli's main square. The local house wine was good and the salmon ravioli was delicious. Watching the sunset from the tip of Oia was a very crowded and unromantic affair with lots of traffic travelling back out. I would advise catching it elsewhere in Oia, but the town itself is beautiful. We absolutely loved Santorini and it's people and it had some of the best scenic views we have ever seen. We will definitely go back, but sadly not to this hotel.

Beautiful location and service 2nd to none. Reception staff could not do enough for us and when ever we needed a taxi to take us into Fira town that would always happy to order one for us. Bar staff and restaurant staff where also amazing. Would highly recommend this hotel. If we decide to return to Santorini we would definitely go back to Andromeda Villas. Views are out of this world and food was excellent. Room very comfortable and had everything that we needed. Bath towel changed every day and very clean. Did the walk from Imerovigil to Fira town along the foot path by the hotel. Took about 40 minutes but stunning scenery. Thanks again to all the staff at Andromeda Villas, you made our stay even more enjoyable.

We arrived early in the morning from Athens, they did what they could to get us into our room as early as possible. The outside pictures are as posted, the view is truly magical. The room was sub par. From what I am reading, it's better to stay in a suite. We aren't picky and don't spend much time in our room so we just booked a standard room. We just like clean. It wasn't awful but it was reminiscent of a motel room. We tried to book a couples massage and we were told the days we were there were open and 3 hours later the entire spa was miraculously booked and we would have to do one after another, after we told them we were on our honeymoon (we are two women). We are quiet and kept people who like to read in the sun. We spent money on food and drink at the hotel as well, wasn't like we weren't committed to spending. We also went out one morning to get something to eat and a coffee and brought some coffee down to the pool, and were told that that was bad and we have to pay taxes at the bar? (The coffee is very gross, believe it was made from their water) But we were told we are welcome to shop at the mini mart? (Not related to the hotel) We were never told we couldn't bring in outside things. as well, we couldn't find such thing anywhere online because we wanted to make sure we didn't commit a travel foul. Confused. We also witnessed the bar tender tell someone he had no change when he misunderstood the guy who asked for his change back after he assumed it was his tip. I would definitely stay in imerovigili again but not at this hotel. Lots of other better rated options for equal value or just a little more, with breakfast included.

Woow is the only word that comes to my mind about this place...oh wat a beauty...the staff were all so polite and is the view...breathtaking to say the least!!its a gem..if u r visiting Santorini..please get yourself booked here!!

We had booked to stay at Senses Boutique Hotel, however on our arrival there, we were informed that they had overbooked and we were to stay at Andromeda Villas & Spa. We were given a junior suite for our nine days. Beautiful room with a king size bed, stunning view of the caldera and good wi-fi too. There are lots of stairs to and from rooms, pool areas, restaurants and reception, so two lifts within the hotel were a welcome addition. Excellent staff that couldn't do enough for you and wanted to help you, whatever you needed. Great breakfast with everything you could want to make it different each day & the restaurant staff, particularly Labros, were extremely helpful. The only downside was a faulty kettle that switched itself off & toilet roll holder that kept falling off the wall. That said, an excellent hotel with excellent staff. Highly recommended!

Santorini is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful travel destinations in Greece and indeed the world. The stunning views and the luxurious accommodations meet the simplicity of the Santorini's people and its narrow streets; you really want to "freeze the moment" and keep it in your heart. What makes a place truly exceptional, however, is its people. I would therefore like to thank the "Andromeda Luxury Villas Hotel" staff and particularly Mr. Akis, the food and beverage manager, who made our stay there unique with his attentiveness and professionalism. I thoroughly recommend this hotel, which helped make our trip a really memorable experience. Until we meet again❤️

I booked one night here as a special surprise for my wife. We got married the week before in santorini and we were staying in Kamari for 2 weeks at the amazing Bellonias villas. I looked all over santorini for what I thought would be the perfect night away from the rest of our wedding party. We ended up very disappointed and I wished I had booked a different hotel. While the views from the hotel, room and imorovigli were some of the best we experienced on the island. Sadly the service and overall experience did not compare to the amazing views. I had booked the honeymoon suite on and on checking the hotel website it said this room type included breakfast so I did not add breakfast on. Only to stil be charged for it by the hotel. 14 euros per person. We did have a lovely afternoon on our terrace, sunbathing and sampling the over rated room service food. However, when it came to night time this was when our experience was soured. We closed all the doors and windows so we could put the air conditioning on but it did not work. Both my wife and I tried many times to make sure all doors and windows were closed but it still would not work. I called reception to report this and they sent someone to look at it. He tried everything we had tried and obviously it still didn't work. He went away and came back, took the front off it and manually put it on but said we could not adjust it, it was either on or off. He left it on and left. It was making a horrible noise. It made us feel uneasy and my wife googled it and found out that faulty air conditioning units are a major cause of carbon monoxide poisoning. This made us worry too much so I pulled the plug out to ensure it would give us any issue. I asked if they had a fan as it was too hot only to be told no. That was it! It was so hot in the little cave like bedroom we had to open the windows in the lounge and sleep on the sofa in the lounge. When the person had came to look at it we were clearly getting ready for bed, in fact my wife was in bed. So what happened next took us by surprise. It was about 30 minutes after the person coming to look at it and we were just drifting off to sleep and there was a loud knock at the door. It took me a moment to grab my robe and I said one minute but he kept knocking. I answered the door to be greeted by a bar man with two large glasses of apperol spritz for us, while we appreciate the gesture we were going to sleep and neither of us like apperol. The following day at check out I complained about the situation and asked for money to be taken off our room service bill as compensation for a hot night sleep and inconvenience. They had already given us our bill and said they have removed the charge for the breakfast. I explained that should have been included anyway and that I had paid £450 for one night and to not have air con is ridiculous. She just shrugged and said no previous guests reported it wasn't working. I tried to argue but she was quite rude and fobbed us off. As I say amazing fees but terrible service here! Will not return to this hotel!

We would have given this hotel a much higher rating if it wasn't for the issue of room allocation which seems to affect many other guests here. We had booked a junior suite for 2 weeks but on arrival were taken to a very basic room. Upon immediately objecting (never a pleasant thing to do when you've just arrived) the hotel accepted there had been a mistake and put us in a lovely family room for our first night and then from the 2nd night onwards we were moved to our junior suite which was nice (maybe not luxurious but still very good and spacious) with a big veranda area. On then meeting some other couples we found that exactly the same thing had happened to them, plus previous trip advisor reviews seem to suggest this as a fairly common problem here. We found the staff fantastic, so nice and helpful without exception (Labros and the boys just can't do enough for you), reception staff so friendly and helpful, the bellboys too. The hotel has a nice bar menu with prices on a par with Imerovigli/ Fira area (i.e. fairly over priced, €4.50 for a small beer at hotel bar which is pretty regular across the resort area). Very nice buffet breakfasts each morning with pretty much everything you could want. Amazing sunset views (which practically everywhere in Imerovigli has). Nice pool area and everything kept very clean. Happy to recommend Andromeda mostly on account of fabulous staff, but big warning to check you've been allocated the room you paid for as soon as you arrive.

Perched on the cliff side the views from this hotel are second to none. The restaurant had the ambiance of a cafeteria, however the food was quite good. The accommodations are where this hotel really stumbles. The decor is dated and clashes with the vibe that the hotel seems to want to push. I spent a night at this hotel because there was an issue with the room at the partner hotel where my group had reservations. I suspect that the room I was given had not been used in some time. It has an old wardrobe for a closet with a handful of mismatched hangers, and an ancient safe. The bathroom was dark (only one fixture over the sink) and smelled of sewer if the noisy fan was turned off. The mini fridge was also ridiculously loud. The door and window to the room faced a walkway to the spa and restaurant so essentially, there was zero privacy unless the shutters were kept closed. When I asked for a room that had a modicum of privacy I was told that I had reserved a room without privacy and they were fully booked so they couldn't move me. The worst was that I woke the next morning with a visible rash on about 70% of my body. Dust mites?? I don't know but I was very glad to leave there. A hotel that claims a four star rating should never offer up such a sub par accommodation to any guest.

The view at this hotel is simply breathtaking. One of the best views on the entire Island. Unfortunately, a spot by the pool area which overlooks this view - is hard to come by since there are a very limited number of pool beds for the amount of guests. These are regularly snatched up first thing in the morning sometimes before breakfast. We found the staff to be helpful throughout our stay. However, at times I found them a little under prepared. Large drinks orders at the bar, a slight change to a meal, or a simple request of the reception staff seemed to throw things into disarray. They were quickly flustered by simple requests however tried their best to accommodate where possible. On arrival they changed our room to an 'upgraded' apartment. The room was shocking. Hidden way back into the resort, with no balcony (as paid for), and a shockingly out of date, dirty bathroom area. After complaining and asking to be moved to what we paid for, we were moved the next night to an incredible room. The bathrooms were clean, well-equipped, and the balcony view over the pool & caldera was to die for! Really makes me think it might be a bit of a gamble what room you get as to how much you enjoy your stay.
