Amoudi Villas is a sanctuary in the midst of the Santorini mob scene. A very beautiful sparkling clean set of apartments with some of the world’s best view from your bed and terrace. The best part is the staff , Arsin went way out of his way to make our experience perfect , a very professional and knowledgeable gentleman . 5 Stars .
This place is a tiny little gem. Gorgeous views, super clean rooms, amazing breakfast they bring up to your balcony, and the service was so wonderful. We loved this place, so relaxing and just gorgeous. I hope I can go back again. So romantic!
The villas are perfect for a relaxing stay in Oia. Great view on the ocean, nice breakfast, clean and nicely decorated rooms, rainshower douche. Tip: get up early to visit Oia so you can go down to the bay again when all tourists from cruise ships arrive. Swimming spot not far away. Stairs up to Oia: Great hike! Staff super friendly and helpful! Recommend this place.
This Amoudi Villas is the most beautiful place to stay . Right on the water. You would never get closer to the water anywhere else. The sunset it’s amazing from here moist of the people come down to see the sunset from here. The staff was amazing really helpful and attentive to any need . Breakfast was different every day and Fresh. The guy who is in charge of the Villa was amazing. I would highly recommend this place to stay .
I stayed here with my fiance for two nights. The service was excellent and the suites were very well maintained and nice. It is at the bottom of Oia (sea level) so it is definitely quiet in the evenings compared to staying at the top of the town. We also didn't mind taking the stairs up to the main town, it was especially nice to do this over sunset as you were able to get a beautiful view without the crowds found at the top! It was also very good value for the price of the room.
I stayed four nights in Amoudi Villas. Lovely room, clean, modern, comfortable and the patio view was breath taking. Breakfast brought to you on the patio was the ultimate pleasure. BUT - don't rely on their service. Times are erratic, bringing you breakfast at any given time. On one occasion I had to miss my pre ordered breakfast (at 8:30) which failed to arrive before I left on a trip at 10:00. There was also a problem when I deigned to ask for fried eggs in place of the daily ommelette. Would I return there. Yes, if only for the lovely room and location.
The team at Amoudi Villa looked after us really well. They were available at all times. The location is good for the views but to get to Oia you need to climb 250 steps unless you get a taxi. There are restaurants by the bay but they open later. Nearest cafes are in Oia. The villas are well located for some of the tours to the volcano.
Recently I stayed at Amoudi villas in Oia. I don't know what was more breathtaking...The view from this gorgeous property or the unbelievable kindness and hospitality my family received from Stylian and Nadia. Amoudi villas is set in a magical location were the sea breeze is felt. Our rooms and the property were exceptionally clean and welcoming. any requests we had were quickly tended to and always with a smile. Breakfast was prompt, amazing and deliciously cooked. Stylian's knowledge of the island and things to do was great. He not only gave great advice but he made sure our excursion trips were booked and with the best guides and that all was taken care of. Stylian and Nadia treated us as their own family and their enthusiasm and smiles made our stay one in a million.
When we booked our interpretation was ok it’s in Amoudi, we googled the area. Great there’s breakfast, that way we aren’t wasting our time looking for a cafe for brekkie & wasting our morning. New premises & all should be clean. I asked staff when we arrived what time breakfast is served , response 9am. Fine I thought. First day not revived till 10.30! Wasted our morning. I requested for breakfast the following day to be 9am. But it arrived st 10.15. I went down & knocked on a door. Staff asleep. Cooking is done in that tiny room where they sleep ! I was mortified. On a hot plate as well. No windows to allow some air in there. 2nd gripe I have is I booked a transfer from the hotel to port. 40euro. The staff member obviously knew that they receive the payment instead of driver & got no receipt as he just took Payment at the car. So wrong. 3rd gripe no reception area as such . For the price you pay your made to wait in the heat. Luckily we found shade in one of the businesses below. What if it was raining? Would I go back ? No. Rooms were clean. I wanted the experience of no fuss no worries. Got half of that & they wasted my time in the mornings.
We booked at the last minute for 2 nights and stayed in the Seaview apartment with a private balcony. (note some of the other rooms don't have a private balcony and we had to walk through their balconies to get up and down from our apartment) First of all as other reviewers have said, it's in the bay and everything else apart from a few restaurants is above it. We had a car and parked on the road on the side of the hill. But to eat we just walked up the steps once the sun had set and it wasn't as hot. It would be easy to get a taxi back down the hillside road but we walked down the steps. If you choose to do this in the dark you will need your torch in your phone as it is not lit. There is no supermarket in the bay, so take your essentials (and wine) with you. It was like a little escape from busy Oia above. We could sit in bed and admire the amazing views or on the balcony. You can't see the sunset from your room! What you get is to see what happens at sunset with the port suddenly overwhelmed by yachts and people from across the Island. One night we stayed on the balcony to watch it all happen and the next we went to the other side of the bay to see the sunset. The room was modern, the bed was very comfortable and there's a fantastic wet room with monsoon shower. There was a little dressing room/walk-in-wardrobe, a fridge and kettle. We'd recommend eating in the town above as the restaurants are a bit of a tourist trap and only one of them has a sunset view. The best part of it is waking up in the morning to the amazing view - it was very peaceful and the owner offers breakfast (included in the price) on your balcony at any time between 0830 and 1030. That included fresh fruit, tea and coffee, eggs, bread, jam etc. We really enjoyed the experience and the excellent service.
