The Ritz is well located in the business/financial district and a short walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the subway. The hotel itself is just okay and in need of an update. They were doing some renovations while we were there and did their best not to be disruptive. We found the service to be very good and the pool and spa area has a lot of potential but is certainly not of RC quality. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay and it is perfectly sufficient for business travel.
The best part of staying in the business/ financial district during holiday season is the calm and tranquility. That for me was the best part of the stay. Typical Ritz Carlton standard, nice hotel, great service, good amenities: zero complaints.
The price was only about $300 per room which was reasonable but service in their only one restaurant was slow. They never changed up the breakfast buffet and they were "updating" the hotel with lots of banging right over our room. The concierge floor was very nice and the staff was terrific and always smiling. I did need to check out a day early and they gave me no problem whatsoever.
Old world style Ritz meaning wood paneling in the bar and classic styled room with neutral palates. It is in the financial district with good restaurants and walking distance to the highest building in South America. Problem is the service. Spa was very worn and no towels to take a shower after my massage. No towels for the pool. Small exercise room surrounded by glass with greenhouse effect. 15 minutes to check out as no one came to help the clerk, and the manager looked on. No compensation. When I complained by email and explained all details, the manager responded by asking me to call her. Ritz in name, not in service
A great city hotel - centrally located, nice facilities, excellent service. All of the employees were very welcoming, polite, and helpful, and worked hard to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. We stayed on the club level, and from the rooms, to the staff, to the refreshments in the club lounge, it was fantastic. Didn't have a chance to visit any of the restaurants, but we did visit the gym / pool area. The pool is covered by a glass dome opposed to being outdoors, so you do get a bit of a greenhouse-effect (very hot / muggy), but not a huge issue. Would definitely return to this hotel, and would highly recommend it for a stay in Santiago.
The general Manager Natasha was so supportive and helpful when my husband had an unanticipated medical issue. We are so grateful! A great hotel stay! We look forward to returning in the next year or so!
A great hotel in Santiago centrally located with good installations and good service. Lobby bar is good to hang out and serve proper food . The gym is much better than other hotels in Chile which is also a plus.
Our stay at the Ritz was wonderful. Multiple bellman opening the doors as you're whisked inside, perfect location steps from the metro, beautiful breakfast, and a comfy bed. The rooms were perfectly quiet, very clean, and the window treatments kept out all of the unwanted morning light. There is a workout room, but it shares a space with the greenhouse like enclosed pool, so it was too warm to use. Otherwise the spa was terrific. There is an outside patio off the enclosed pool, and an inside poolside bar, so I'm marking it as having a rooftop bar because you could easily walk out there and enjoy drinks.
Great service. Great bar food. Front desk was great. Perfect neighborhood location. Beautiful pool and health club facility. Front desk manager was excellent. Would recommend and stay again. Location was perfect.
We spent a couple of days in the hotel. Our room was large and clean. The service from check in, to bar service and concierge were all amazing. Friendly and efficient. We also had access to the club which made check-in even better.
