In all my years of traveling, I have never met a more condescending and ignorant staff. When you met eyes with the receptionist or breakfast attendant, they would literally look the other way. It's almost like they all took a course in how NOT to please guests. Other guests complaints during my stay were also common. Internet connection dropped every 3 seconds, TV was all static, hotel carpet was stained, room decor was 1970's, never updated. Pool was tiny, of course closed for renovations. The gym? 2 stationary bikes that didn't work. The only positive was location, but dozens of better options available. Possibly my worst experience in a hotel ever, I felt uncomfortable and unwanted there. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else..

Great place. Good price. Nice location. Good service

This 5-star hotel in Providencia is well-located & the rooms are clean & well-stocked, so it should be appealing to most travelers. The crucial thing that's lacking, however, is cordiality on the part of the staff. Nobody here ever smiles, the guy doing my check-in was almost rude in the way he instructed me to fill in the registration form, and the service at breakfast (which should be much better stocked) is practically non-existent: nobody will check to see if you have a napkin, but they'll try to take your dish away when you haven't finished (happened twice over 4 days). Pretty much everybody on staff here needs a refresher course at charm school!

We had 2 different rooms. There is not consistency among the amenities in the rooms. There is also something to be said about a 4 star hotel that every time somebody flushes their toilet (all the time..) changes the temperature of the water in the shower. The front desk (literally 2 desks at the end of the front hall) is maned by stiff, non-helping, bored looking individuals. The door staff is nice. The breakfast was better than expected since Fodor's had a cons: breakfast not impressive review. The single real good thing is a really great (near subway- Leones) location.

It was a nice stay with my wife. The hotel is very well located and the restaurant is very good. Staff in general is above the average considering Chile's low standard for customer service. The room was a bit warmer than expected, so we had to sleep with only the sheets, a better room temperature is adviced. The pool was not in service since there was an event in the same floor where it is. Despite all said, this is a very good option for a short stay, lots of places to visit nearby and confortable.

its a very cozy hotel, in a residential neighbourhood, next to great cafe and shopping area.

The hotel is nicely situation in Santiago de Chile (Residencia). The hotel staff was very supportive and they helped with tours. The only disadvantage was, that their pool was closed. And after all the hiking in the days before, we definitely needed some water exercises.

Hotels in Santiago are generally expensive and I found this one to be a reasonable price around $160 per night in August, 2014. It's in one of the nicer and safe areas in Santiago and I felt very comfortable exploring even after dark as a solo woman traveler. There are many good restaurants in the area that are walkable I would recommend it. Some staff were great and some not so great but overall I would stay here again.

My stay was quite pleaseant. The rooms and the hotel were well equiped and confortable. They are focused on the details, which is nice. The hotel is not too large, so the service is very personalized. The staff is nice. The bathrooms and the carpets are a bit dated, but aceptable. The rooftop pool is very cool.

I thought the hotel was great, had character and was a great price/value.

Hotel was a great stay, great location, great food, great staff - will definitely be staying again on my next visit to Santiago.

Very friendly and honest staff. They made us comfortable till the room was ready. The concierge was helpful in arranging tours

Hotel service is outstanding, rooms are okay need some upgrading, breakfast is okay, location is great, a bit overpriced for teh quality of the ooms. They should not allow smoking in the rooms. Restaurant downstairs over priced almost NY prices.

Nice hotel for the rates, very nice neighborhood, room was clean, nice LCD TV. Internet charges too high and poor quality, ok Breakfast, should have eggs cooked to order. Overall the hotel is nice for two or so days in Santiago, very nice location in Providencia, sorrounded by malls and nice restaurants.
