I traveled to Santiago again on business, and really enjoyed my stay at the Four Points hotel. Location: - The location was perfect for my purposes. It was close enough to walk to our office as well as many shops/restaurants. Even better, it is closely located to my favourite spot to get a bite to eat, namely Fuente Chilena! THere is also a Subway right opposite, so definitely convenient from this perspective. You are also just a few short blocks from the Costanera mall. Room: - The room was perfect, very comfortable and quiet (SPG on the 7th floor). I had a corner room, and loved the windows and had a decent view. Try and get one of these rooms! Breakfast: - The breakfast was delicious. A fairly good range of food and always super fresh and tasty. And the staff were very friendly and attentive! Amenities: - Work was a bit busy again - so again I did not get a chance to check out any of the amenities. Service: - The service was excellent. All staff were very friendly and attentive and all too happy to assist. General: - I made sure to use their green option - which provides you with a $5 discount for each day that you don't have your room cleaned. It really isn't necessary to have it cleaned each and every day - so after a few days - you can use your collection of discounts to get a free meal or drink/s! There was apparently some hotel renovations on the go - but I did not hear a single noise. Once again, I enjoyed my stay and I would strongly recommend this hotel if you staying for business.
Wife and I were here on two separate occasions totaling 3 nights during the same Chilean trip. We sandwiched our Patagonia trip with this hotel. The hotel is easy to get to via public transit from the airport. We took advantage of that on our first day (CentroPuerto bus to Pajarito Metro, and Line 2 to Los Leones, 1hr15min). We then took a Transvip 7-person shared shuttle back to the Airport (50min.) Our second trip we decided to take the Transvip Ejecutivo Taxi instead (20min.) Our check in process was friendly and simple. Our first stay we were upgraded to a suite. Our second stay was in a regular room. Both rooms were basically the same, just one has more space. The room was comfortable and clean. We opted in for Make a Green Choice, but still yet to receive our points. WiFi worked great throughout our stay. Even though there were notices about construction, but we didn't hear any noises. We had 3 great night sleep here. We had many questions and requests for the front desk. We asked them to booked transvip shuttles for us, we asked them to call our Patagonia hotel to confirm airport pick up for us. The front desk were always happy to help without any hesitations with all of our requests. This is one of the major reason why this hotel is so great. From the hotel, we were able to walk to everything Providencia. The best food we had in Santiago was from this little restaurant around the corner of the hotel called "Ambrosia Bistro." What a fantastic little place. There were a Lider Express and a Jumbo supermarket both are within a block away. Overall it was a great experience, and we will be back.
The worst part is no notifications that the hotel is being renovated until you get to the room and find a note saying we provide you with earplugs so you can try to sleep. The room has been quite from 7 to 10 pm then the hammers start ladders are drug across the floors and constant construction sounds. They were noisy from 10 pm until I left at 5 am for two nights straight. Luckily I am leaving today. Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay. It doesn’t look like they will be done any time soon.
Great location, beautiful sculpture park across the river a block away. Great restaurants all around. Extermely very helpful and pleasant staff. Clean, well appointed and updated (except for the old style phones!)! Nice rooftop pool. Very good value. We could not have been happier!
Very good location in Providencia, with many bars and restaurants around. Safe to walk around at night. Rooms were comfortable, excellent bed, good showers. We didn’t have breakfast because our flight left too early. But the receptionist offered to pack us something for the journey. The lobby is being remodeled, so nothing impressive there. They offer you a welcome drink, which was nice!
Got an early check-in after a 13 hour flight from LAX. Located in a middle class part of town convenient to public transportation, short walk to Costanera Mall and Providencia Ave. Plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. Very quiet at night,Room on 7th floor was spacious with view of Cerro San Cristobol. Comfortable bed, large counter in bath, shower only Staff were friendly and helpful but not many spoke English. BBC for news on TV, one channel that had movies in English. Courtyard restaurant served breakfast from a buffet, other meals from the menu. Small bar and lounge adjacent to a slightly larger lobby.
Great location, comfy beds. We had a king deluxe room and just a note it was a shower only, no tub. There was 1 English movie channel on the tv. Played newer movies. Walked to the mall, was a 5 minute walk. Lots to eat in the area.
The entrance Is being renovated but that has not stopped excellent service with the reception staff when we asked the usual questions that us new comers to a city all ask. The location is perfect to walk to the gondola, the new shopping centre and skywalk. Surrounded by many restaurants and cafes makes it ideal and safe to go out and have some fabulous meals. The breakfast was adequate, boring. It offered the usual toast, fruit , eggs and bacon and bad coffee. The menu confused us in regard to what you got for each menu selection. English in the cafe was not a strong point but great at reception. A Safe, jug and small fridge in the room. There is a pool which believe it of not was so hard to find we had to ring reception. We also had a nice view of the city and mountain range in the distance . We would stay here again.
I arrived at the hotel a few days before my husband. As Starwood members we used points to book our room. We originally looked at the San Cristobal Tower, but due to the great reviews of this property as well as its more favorable location we chose the Four Points. I had read a number of reviews stating that the hotel staff was very accommodating about early check ins. When I arrived, I was told there were no rooms available. But, I could pay an extra $70 and have one immediately. To me, that didn’t make much sense, and I declined the offer. I was able to check in around noon. I also noticed that the hotel was (maybe still is) under renovation. There was no note about that on the website when I made the booking. I checked again while at the hotel. Again, no information that the hotel is undergoing improvements. My room was fine, however, during the day there were construction noises and the AC was very loud. Also, the hot tub was not open. Since I was alone for the first few days, I did spend more time at the hotel than I normally would have. The only English TV channel (CNN International) did not work. Three different times I mentioned this to the front desk. I’m not sure if they ever sent anyone up or not, but it still wasn’t working by the end of my five night stay. I had breakfast one day. It was around $18 USD for the buffet and not very good. Also, the last morning at the hotel, we showered (my husband had arrived by then) only to find that bath towels had not been put in the room the previous day. We dried off with the hand towels. The best part of this hotel is the location in Provedencia. It is a very safe neighborhood and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Staff was courteous, but not overly friendly or helpful. While not a bad experience, it could have been much better.
The hotel is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. The front desk staff was great and we got into the room when we arrived after an overnight flight. The room was nice and spacious for 3 adults. My only negative comments are Trip Advisor says breakfast is free and that is not the case the front desk said it was $15 per person. That was a factor when I chose a hotel. Also,we asked for more towels 3 times and never for any. But that might have been a language barrier. Overall I would have no problemstaying here again
