We spent a week here in September 2017. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff was most helpful. Our room was comfortable and had a nice view of the Andes. It is located in a more upscale part of Santiago close to the Costanera Center Mall. There are metro stops nearby from which you can reach most every part of the city. There is a great little coffee shop right across the street and several nice restaurants within walking distance. It is also located near a shopping district with many stores - very few stores and restaurants in the area were open on Sunday. The large mall in the Costanera Center was open.
Rooms are very well equipped, everything you need is available. Hotel personal is very kind and very willing to help. There are options for breakfast like continental and buffet. For dinner the quality of the food is reasonable but I advise to eat outside.
My partner and I stayed at Sheraton Four Points in Santiago for a week last July. It was highly recommended by a colleague from work who happens to be a native of the Chilean capital but who now lives in San Francisco like we do. We decided to follow her advice and boy were we happy we did. The hotel is in an upscale part of town and is very close to the Costanera Center, an outstanding mall, where we had dinner many, many times. Our room was huge and the bed had clean crisp sheets. We were even given a late checkout since our flight didn't leave til late in the evening. We wouldn't mind returning at all.
As a SPG hotel, I was expecting more of this hotel. I was aware that it would not be a luxury top level hotel, but i was a little worse than my expectation. Some unexpected situations led me to evaluate as 3 (almost 2). Staff is nice and polite on average. That's positive. Thanks Pamela ans Sebastian for your attention. Even though we saw that hotel is passing by a renovation it does not justify to find bathroom with lack of cleaning, furs on the shower, walls not well cleaned. Air conditioning in my room and in my kids room was not working. Gym academy is not close to minimum. Amazingly in the country of wine in latin america and with bottles of wine in room to buy, there is no opener!!! I needed to ask tree times to have someone to go to my room to have it opened. Breakfast is good. I believe rooms after renovation will be better. Hotel is very well positioned in Providencia neighbor. Close to metro station, many rstaurants ans services close by. Nice area to have a walk, run or bike.
Small but comfortable hotel with an estrategic location at Providencia neighborhood, close to Metro station Los Leones and Costanera Center mall. Rooms are ok, just a little noisy for my taste (from street, from AC and from other rooms). Buffet breakfast is quite complete. Staff service is wonderful, always willing to help. Will come back again.
Although the Santa Magdalena street is a short one and not very well known by the taxi drivers, the hotel is greatly located. The staff is very helpful and in accord with the worldwide known Chilean hospitality. The rooms are clean and ample with very comfortable beds. Just request the rooms facing the street since the ones on the back, get a lot of noise from the bars and nightclubs nearby.
I was worried when booking this hotel that it'd be too far from downtown and too far from the action. This hotel is in a great area and close to the metro which allows for quick transit to anywhere in the city. We arrived via Uber from SCL airport and that cost about 15 USD. My favorite part about this hotel was definitely the staff! The staff are super friendly and even noticed it was my birthday! Later in the afternoon (while we were out exploring), they delivered two slices of apple pie. I'm not sure if this was for my birthday or not, but what a nice touch! I'm SPG Gold so we were able to take advantage of late check-out and even got an upgrade to a corner suite- amazing balcony and view. I agree with many of the reviewers that this location definitely needs updating. The room we were in was pretty nice (maybe newer than most). The common areas were very outdated but it appeared that they are working to fix these. I'd definitely visit again!
I usually stay at the Sheraton convention but it was full. This hotel was a nice surprise. It is older but comfortable and in need of some modernization. It is centrally located within good restaurants and shopping. Nice antiques store within a short walk. The food is good and the service quick and friendly.
Great location, friendly and polite staffs made my stay more than comfortable. They took care of my request and made sure that my stay was comfortable. I am more than happy to be back at this hotel when I am back in town.
Four points was a very good choice for out short stay in Santiago (3 days). Rooms are very nice and staff very helpful. It's located no more than 3 or 4 blocks away from Costanera Center shopping mall and close to restaurants and easy access to transportation. One thing to improve: breakfast.
