I arrived at the hotel a few days before my husband. As Starwood members we used points to book our room. We originally looked at the San Cristobal Tower, but due to the great reviews of this property as well as its more favorable location we chose the Four Points. I had read a number of reviews stating that the hotel staff was very accommodating about early check ins. When I arrived, I was told there were no rooms available. But, I could pay an extra $70 and have one immediately. To me, that didn’t make much sense, and I declined the offer. I was able to check in around noon. I also noticed that the hotel was (maybe still is) under renovation. There was no note about that on the website when I made the booking. I checked again while at the hotel. Again, no information that the hotel is undergoing improvements. My room was fine, however, during the day there were construction noises and the AC was very loud. Also, the hot tub was not open. Since I was alone for the first few days, I did spend more time at the hotel than I normally would have. The only English TV channel (CNN International) did not work. Three different times I mentioned this to the front desk. I’m not sure if they ever sent anyone up or not, but it still wasn’t working by the end of my five night stay. I had breakfast one day. It was around $18 USD for the buffet and not very good. Also, the last morning at the hotel, we showered (my husband had arrived by then) only to find that bath towels had not been put in the room the previous day. We dried off with the hand towels. The best part of this hotel is the location in Provedencia. It is a very safe neighborhood and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Staff was courteous, but not overly friendly or helpful. While not a bad experience, it could have been much better.
The hotel is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. The front desk staff was great and we got into the room when we arrived after an overnight flight. The room was nice and spacious for 3 adults. My only negative comments are Trip Advisor says breakfast is free and that is not the case the front desk said it was $15 per person. That was a factor when I chose a hotel. Also,we asked for more towels 3 times and never for any. But that might have been a language barrier. Overall I would have no problemstaying here again
We stayed at this property during our recent trip to Santiago for 2 nights and were well taken care off. Carlos and Ayleen(sp?) at reception were extremely attentive to our needs. They gave us great tips for our trip to Valparaiso for the new year's eve celebration and also held our bags for our return the following day. Upon our return from Valparaiso my wife was a bit unwell. Given the whole city was shut down on January 1st, Carlos and Ayleen were able to find a doctor to visit my wife. I must also recognize the extremely kind and lovely lady at the travel desk whose name (Diane?) I can't recall now (my apologies!) who lent her Metro card to us for use during our stay in Santiago. Thank you! The rooms we stayed in were great. A roll-away was provided to my daughter. High quality SPG bedding as always. We had lunch at the bar and dinner at the restaurant on January 1. It was adequate. The sea bass I had at dinner was a tad overcooked. We checked out very early in the morning to catch our flight to Calama and the hotel organized a cab for us. We also managed to get some quick breakfast from what looked like an elaborate spread. Overall, a great property in a fantastic location as several have noted. My preferred property for future SCL stays.
Arrival Front desk were on top of their game. On check in one of the rooms was not ready so was upgraded so we could have the room available The staff were instrumental in providing advice and information on what to do in Santiago. Location Great for the shopping mall and the Sky observatory. Rooms Room on the 12th floor was spacious and clean. Was very impressed and did not expect the level of customer service which exceeded some of the higher quality Sheraton’s.
The hotel is closer to a couple of malls and business centers, as well is located in a quiet and safe area. The internet has good bandwidth and coverage. I had a previous stay in Four Points Bogota and the service quality is highly better in compare to Four Points Chile, I consider that it’s a good brand but the service standard is a key part on the guest experience.
Stayed 1 night on 6th floor. Hotel staff seems nice. AC worked well. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure was good; water temperature was consistent. Breakfast buffet was good, but minimal hot food options for vegans; no oatmeal. Has pool on roof. Location is good; few blocks from Costanera Center; close to Los Leones metro station. Many restaurants close by. Overall, nice place to stay.
I stayed here over a weekend a month ago. The hotel is located in a great area in Providencia, close to Costanera. I was upgraded to a suite room, which was a nice touch. The rooms were old but still okay for the price that I paid. Beds were alright, the only issue I had was during the second night, there was a noise coming from the floor above me. The staff quickly checked it and it was an air-conditioning unit that was making the noise. They were very apologetic and switched rooms for me (at 2am). In the morning, the front desk staff had already heard of the issue, and asked what they can do for me. They were kind enough to let me do a later check out, which I very much appreciated. Overall, I feel this hotel is one I will come back, because the staff is there to help guests and solve problems. I also love the area around the hotel, with the awesome Ambrosia Bistro just one street over.
Stayed here for business. The hotel is located in Costanera Area, a new developed area within Santiago vicinity with a view of Andes Mountain Range. Walking distance to Costanera centre, which is the highest building in South America. You can find a lot of food option in surrounding areas, as well as cafes, pastries etc. Quite far from Downtown Santiago, but its a nice part to stay in Santiago. Room size is OK, not to spacious, got everything you need for a good night stay. Hotel staff is nice and friendly, for complete information on city of Santiago, as the Russian lady at the reception, she knows everything and will point you to the right direction for everything you need to know about Santiago. Nothing to complain, will consider to stay here on my next visit to chile. Hopefully the renovation is done next time
We spent a week here in September 2017. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff was most helpful. Our room was comfortable and had a nice view of the Andes. It is located in a more upscale part of Santiago close to the Costanera Center Mall. There are metro stops nearby from which you can reach most every part of the city. There is a great little coffee shop right across the street and several nice restaurants within walking distance. It is also located near a shopping district with many stores - very few stores and restaurants in the area were open on Sunday. The large mall in the Costanera Center was open.
Rooms are very well equipped, everything you need is available. Hotel personal is very kind and very willing to help. There are options for breakfast like continental and buffet. For dinner the quality of the food is reasonable but I advise to eat outside.
