I paid for a Junior Suite, Terrace and was given a downgrade without any communication to me. I had no terrace. Front Desk staff not friendly or welcoming (at all)
All round fantastic place, room, staff, breakfast and location
A very pretty hotel in a great location - the Lastarria neighborhood has great restaurants and interesting street life - musicians, outdoor book and vintage markets and plenty of bars. You can also walk to the subway which is a great way to get around the city. The staff is friendly and helpful - they sent suggestions of things to do before we arrived and also offered to arrange for airport car service. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return someday! Our room also had a outdoor patio with a giant umbrella and comfortable seating.
We unfortunately spent only one night at the Lastarria, just before flying home, but were very impressed with both the amenities and the staff. The room was great, with a huge and beautifully appointed bathroom. I loved the warm wooden floors and the artwork. The common areas in the hotel are elegant, but still homey and inviting. The staff could not be more accommodating. For example, our flight left very early in the morning, but they offered to have breakfast ready for us before our cab came at 5:00 am. The hotel is in a great and very convenient neighborhood, with tons of restaurants and bars right around the corner, but on a quiet and pleasant street. All in all, a great experience, and one I would highly recommend.
This hotel was steps away from the bustling downtown. Just a short walk from the hip Bella Vista neighborhood and everything else the city has to offer. Visiting in winter, the hotel was near empty, so the staff was very accommodating and sweet. They also went out of their way and setup breakfast for me and my husband at 5:30am even though they normally only start breakfast at 7am.

Dear Guest, We gave you a Deluxe room with tubath due to your request of "LOVE to have a room with a bathtub even if I have to downgrade my room type". We did not reach to inform it but because it was a last moment option we had to try to please you. We will be glad to host you again in your next visit to Santiago. Best regards
