everything about this place is great! Highly recommended!

Lovely. True Santa Fe! Clean, easy check in. Close to everything.

Walking distance to several nice local attractions. Charming rooms, and not incredibly over crowded. Breakfast Tamales were a plus!

Lovely building near the Plaza. Great breakfasts. Responsive staff to a clogged bathroom sink. Later talked with the owners who declined to a call a plumber when the problem persisted said I should use the bathroom toilet plunger. Wonderful setting, very picturesque. Good parking.

Nice historic audible going back to mid 1800’s. Needs some updating. Wonderful staff. Close to Plaza.

Nice hotel. Convenient location. Very comfortable.

Beautiful suite of rooms. The tile work was exquisite and we enjoyed the sense of place in another culture. Breakfast included local foods and a wide variety including the best cantaloupe I’ve tasted since last summer. The area is quiet and convenient. Wish we had planned to stay longer.

This room #20 was not worth what I paid. The staff uses the charm of the hotel, such as it’s adobe walls and history as an excuse for everything. I understand the whole history aspect of it but there is no excuse for an uncomfortable hard bed. It squeaks with every turn you make. I couldn’t sleep all night. The room was cold and the heater barely works. We had to use the fireplace which they charge $15 extra per night and only provided us 4 small logs. The fire barely lasted 1.5 hours. The water was cold to shower or wash hands. When we mentioned this at check out, the lady stated that it’s an old building and it’s run on electric so after 15 minutes the hot water goes out and we should wait a while for it to warm back up before the next person showers. Even with one person showering, the water barely warms up. The hotel has charm But basic amenities like hot water, heater in the winter months, $15 extra charge per night for 4 logs, and uncomfortable bed wouldn’t have me stay again. The breakfast is okay. The hard boiled eggs were ice cold and over cooked to were there was a green ring on the yolk. If you are vegetarian than the chicken stew and pork tamales aren’t a hit. They have bagels and fruit but if I’m paying for a bed and breakfast, I would expect a warm breakfast and a comfortable bed. Also, our room slept up to 4 people but they charge additional for the 3rd and 4th guest. I believe it is like $25 extra per person. There are way better places to stay!

Great breakfast and staff. Easy walk to downtown.

Charming, traditional property within easy walking distance of the plaza.

Thank you Anonymous! We're grateful for the opportunity to share our 158 yr old historic adobe pueblo accomodations. After 34 years of consistent service, ownership and perserverance to our goal (preserving the originality of the property), we love sharing it as an "experience in authentic New Mexico history" with our guests. All 18 rooms will encase a guest in 2 ft thick adobe (mud) as well as boast yesteryear elements for a real authentic adobe historic travel experience- so glad you enjoyed it! Come back anytime, we'd love to have you back.

Thank you Anonymous! We're grateful you appreciated our true Santa Fe offerings. Our property dates back to 1860, is made completely of 2 ft thick adobe bricks in a pueblo-style, is conveniently located in downtown (thus walking distance to all historic sites, etc) and our services are very reflect of native culture and flavors! We're sure you can agree... Santa Fe travelers have a lot of options when choosing lodging, but to really "experience historic Santa Fe" we do a great job for you! Come back anytime, we'd love to share more of this 400 yr old city and our 158 yr old original adobe pueblo accommodations.

Thank you Anonymous. We'd hope you'd allow us to know more about what pleased you or what you felt we could do better for a future stay! Remember- we offer a unique (not hotel) bed and breakfast that well represent this 400+ yr old city ( Santa Fe). 2 ft thick adobe (mud); mosaic tiled bathtubs/showers; red chile pork tamales for breakfast- all examples of our local "uniqueness" - cultures, flavors, architecture and of course history! Thanks for the opportunity to serve you and we'd hope you'd consider a future stay and Santa Fe visit!

Thank you Anonymous for the opportunity to serve you on your recent Santa Fe, New Mexico visit. We're glad to know you found our 158 yr old historic adobe pueblo to be an excellent choice for you. We the unique experience of local historic architecture was a highlight for you as well as our distinctive breakfast fair (red chile pork tamales and green chile chicken stew). Santa Fe's nickname is the "The City Different" for many reasons we're certain you now realize. We have intentionally preserved Pueblo Bonito b&b's property to provide an authentic historic travel experience to our guests and it appears we did an outstanding job for you- thank you! Thank you Debbie. So glad you enjoyed our authentic adobe pueblo property and our intentional preservation thereof! To clarify a point: the clogged sink was taken care of the same day and as such didn't need a plumber.... Guests checked into the room day you checked out with no problems. Sometimes clogs do happen and we (as evidenced by our quick response) do our best to fix anything quickly. We're sorry for your inconvenience, but are grateful all was quickly rectified. We hope to see you again on a return visit.

Thank you Anonymous. Yes our property originally built in 1860 has had only 3 owners in 158 years of history! Amazing isn't it? The first was a West Texas Circuit judge who built it for his residence complete with servants quarters, stables and horno (Native American bread oven)- all made of 2 ft thick adobe brick and all remain on the property. Second owner transformed interior space of all building into small private dwelling units (i.e. pueblo)- inspired by Pueblo Bonito of Chaco Canyon. Third... well that would be us! We've created the only downtown Santa Fe that remains true to the original intent of it's builder and provide a unique experience for those travelers wanting to emerse themselves in historic Santa Fe living (with modern amenities- flat screen cable tv, private baths, high speed WiFi, etc). We hope to see you again soon!

Thank you Monica! We appreciate knowing you were comfortable and enjoyed our convenient location in downtown Santa Fe- easy walking to all historic sites, museums, restaurants, shops, galleries and more! If I may clarify one point and that would be we are a bed and breakfast not a hotel. This is important as we have 19 rooms total and cater only to our stay over guests- thus our atmosphere is more intimate, quiet, calm and welcoming than a commercial hotel. Hope you were able to enjoy our secluded historic adobe pueblo grounds as well with outside sitting areas light for night time ambiance! We hope to see you again in the future!
