Excellent location - unique deco
Great little gem of a hotel right in the middle of downtown SB!
Liked the cardless entry into room
The space is great for adults and kids. Lots of open space and seating for hanging out.
Beware. I paid in full and got a call earlier today demanding that I pay $11 additional and when I queried them on what the charge was, they were unable to say. Don’t stay here and definitely don’t trust them. The property is nice and it has some cool amenities but they are straight up trying to steal from me.
Very disappointing experience. First, this is not a "Hotel". It's a re-done Motel. It's in a somewhat sketchy part of town just off State St. Lots of noice, police, homeless and random strangers to confront you on the street. You don't want to be walking back to your room late at night. Room was very ordinary - nothing special. Nickel and dime on costs. Very overpriced for what it was. I've been to Santa Barbara many times and there are lots of better places to stay.
It's walking distance to state st. and the pet friendly hotel makes it even better.
They've turned an older motel into a fun, relaxing, and modern respite in a wonderful part of Santa Barbara. It's location is fantastic for walking and the beach.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff; location was phenomenal - central to beach, wine tasting, restaurants, and transit connections
Very charming hotel with great staff nnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Great location great staff. Very nice rooms. Free parking.
Great location, friendly staff, room was perfect, no issues. Also, they had some promotional passes to local businesses for food and beverage, which was definitely a bonus! Check out the Cruisery, cool spot!
Walls were paper thin, could here everything next door. Heater took hours to work. Staff was wonderful. Location was great. Room was great. Thanks
Pictures online portray a more sleek image of the hotel than reality. This is an old motel that had a fresh coat of paint slapped on, but the rooms still feel a bit dingy and bleak. The wood floors in our room were termite bitten and cracking under our feet. We stayed in November and, though the room had a small wall heater, we were freezing. Hotel Haley is going for a trendy, casual vibe but the execution isn't quite right.

Hello Kurt, I apologize you felt this way, this was not our intention. There was an unpaid balance for parking that you were contacted for, we will go ahead and waive this for you. We hope you return to the Haley Hotel. Thank you

Hello Rob, It is unfortunate the Haley Hotel was not up to your expectation, we hope we can make up for it in the future. We are located half a block away from the downtown area and a 5 min walk to the beach some might say it is the perfect location. We offer outdoor areas for our guest and a dog run for our fur friends, our rooms are all different in their own way, a touch of the Santa Barbara style I would say. We would like to invite you back and offer a free 2 hr bike ride. We appreciate your feedback!

Thank you Daniel, we are glad you enjoyed your stay, come back soon!
Sorry to hear the stay was not adequate Robert.
