Hotel Orange Tree Inn has been closed for more than 2 moths and Orbitz and hotel forgot to let me know, so I booked my Valentines Day around my reservation. I got an email the day I was heading out to Santa Barbara from Orbitz letting me know the hotel was closed since December and they were going to do an upgrade to a sister property and respect my rate. I agree to this even though it was last minute. I got to the Lemon Inn Tree property they had suggested but they never communicated with them, therefore they didn't have any rooms left and were not responsible. I called Orbitz for like 2 hours until they found a third placement on Valentines weekend, they found a Motel 6. I had no other option but to take it or I would literally sleep in the car. I don't like leaving bad reviews or anything but with this scenario I just had to. Make sure to call the hotel even though you book with Orbitz, Expedia or whatever medium. Always called the hotel too. I've traveled a lot and never had this happened. Orbitz did come through getting a Motel 6 but I was just a disappoint the planning ahead and all and they messed up all my plan.
Friendly staff. Great location. Very close to everything.
Well l enjoyed the stay just a few things the bathroom wasn't clean properly hair in the tub & issues with the lights & had to let water run a bit for hot water , but staff was wonderful & l will stay again had a good night sleep.
Very nice staff! Clean room! But it’s definitely old. Random scuffs or stains, frayed towels, missing tv remote, thin pillows. But it felt otherwise clean, good location, and nice staff anytime I talked to them. Wouldn’t recommend but would consider staying again.
There is no morning ooffee nor even a continental breakfast. Front desk suggests you go to the nearby 7-11. Was okay for a one night bare bones stop.
Great location, plenty of parking, but bare bones amenities. A good deal for the cost and/or travelers on a tight budget.
Hotel full room selection terrible. Dirty floor, ants. Friendly and accommodating staff
