Breakfast with the chef’s special was amazing. Very charming country inn with beautiful large rooms. Staff were extremely welcoming. Definitely staying here again.

Check-in was a huge disappointment. Property doesn't have an elevator which is not mentioned in the hotel’s description. My husband has dissability so I asked for downstares room. First I was told that to change floor I need to contact Expedia. When I asked for a manager, I was told that no one was available. I insisted and asked several times to speak to the manager on the phone. Getlman at reception disappeared for quite some time and returned with the woman who said that they could give us a room that has dissability assistance. I told her that we needed a regular room but downstairs. She replied that we could have it for an additional $30 which I refused. Keep in mind that on the day we checked in, hotel had only few people staying and many rooms were available. The woman still gave us a room with disability assistance. The toilet was a foot from the floor, shower was tiny, uncomfortable, and weired. Shower head was completely rusted. Sink to wash was not in the bathroom, but in the room which was not convenient if one wanted to use the bathroom at night. No TV, no fridge, no safe. Curtains on the windows were very light and almost see-through. The light from the street at night or day light in the morning made it hard to get some sleep. Overall, the room was unclean and looked rundown.

Our room was in poor condition. The carpet was badly stained, mold on shower floor, bedskirt looked like an old rag badly wrinkled. No logs in gas fireplace, mismatched furniture, poorly repaired drywall water leak repairs. Hotel not representative of star rating and brand reputation. Don’t waste your money until renovated. Staff friendly and attentive. Complimentary breakfast is continental at best with one hot item. Coffee not hot after dispensing two days in a row.

Overpriced for bad service

Really felt like this hotel was a ripoff. The room was advertised as a queen bed but it was definitely a full, and breakfast was “made to order” but only if you could find a staff member, which was hard enough, and if you succeed in finding one then good luck getting them to make eye contact with you even when they’re sitting at the front desk and you’re standing one foot away from them. (The cleaning staff was excellent; it was the front desk who were rude and ambivalent). At 8am they still had yesterday’s coffee, freezing cold and full of grounds, sitting in the thermos in the dining room. No attention to detail, not romantic, bad service — I just can’t recommend enough that you don’t overpay to stay here

Very friendly welcome to the Inn. Our check in was quick and our room perfect. Very quiet room, spacious and clean. Breakfast was perfect with a small assortment of sliced fruit, yogurt and baked goods. Fresh coffee, water and orange juice also available for self serve. We were greeted and offered "Turkish Eggs" which were delicious, but if we wanted we could also have ordered eggs our way as well. It's a lovely place. Highly recommend a visit and stay if you're in the area.

I’m the breakfast wasn’t very good A quiche that tasted like frozen and heated. The room was very musty smelling and the pillows were awful. We won’t be coming back
