We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. Gorgeous hotel and rooms. The staff is very nice and was helpful will day plans and restaurants!! The hotel is also well located in the heart of the city. I recommend staying here!!

We stayed for my 60th birthday. Everything was wonderful and the staff was helpful in giving directions, logistics and just being pleasant in general. The Dry bar makes some awesome cocktails and just watching the mix masters was entertainment! Thank you so much to the hotel for providing a great birthday memory.

What a lovely hotel in a great location in San Sebastian! The service was great, our room was very nice with a lovely view. On our first day we had booked a 2 day walking tour, our guide was Eskerne, who was so delightful we booked her again for the next day for a gastronomical tour of the pintos bars! She made our short time in San Sebastian a memorable experience!

I was so happy to see my room, such a delight to be in there!!!! extremely nice, comfortable and clean. All the room and the bathroom were updated with the newest artifacts, lamps, clock, paintings, furniture, everything. We were delighted with the service when we got here at the front desk with the driver taking our car to hotel garage and all the first class hotel manners you expect from this kind of hotel It was more than usual! The location of the hotel in the center of the old part and new part of the city so we walked all ! What I liked best was that we were in a walking distance from all stores and restaurants too. Excellent amenities!!! Everything beautiful, new, and so so so clean everything. I loved that! What my husband I did not like was how expensive it is to have the car in the hotel garage. Everything else was Super

Location: next to the beach, harbor and river Atmosphere: it is the poshest hotel in San Sebastian and it oozes history and atmosphere. It has been renovated and this turned a fairly dark hotel into a modern place. It looks much nicer than on my previous. Service: very good Food: what do you expect? This place is really high class although you chose to go to a couple of Michelin starred restaurants as well.

From the moment one arrives and enters through their beautiful lobby filled with the most gorgeous fresh cut orchids, one knows this is the place to stay and that one has made an excellent choice. The staff, and service are par non, our beautifully appointed room with an amazing view to the Uremea river which you can watch flow into the Ocean is a site to behold The Maria Cristia Is a grand hotel and I look forward to returning.

Ma Cristina is a great hotel in all respects. The architecture and design are timeless and the maintenance and conservation make it one of the destination hotels of the world. It is ideally located in San Sebastián and at times you wish you just stay inside. The service is unparalleled and goes well with the interior design which is unpretentious but very elegant. Highly highly recommended to make your SS experience unique.

We arrived late at night after a long journey, but were immediately revived by the wow factor as we walked in to the hotel lobby. This lasted for the rest of our stay - elegant decor, a lovely room, superb breakfast, helpful of the nicest hotels we've stayed in.

Spacious room with modern amenities, including iphone7 dock by the bed, perfect for two adults and one tall teenager. A luxurious California King Size bed with the most comfortable mattress and pillows. Even our tall teenager was happy in his single roll-away bed. Our request for a quiet room was honored - far from the elevator and on a high floor away from the main street. Turn down chocolate service at night. The hotel staff was very helpful with excellent recommendations for pintxos bars(the concierge will give you a guide), day trip by local bus to a seaport village where you can find a medieval slanted church, anchovy factory, visit vineyards for the fizzy white wine, Balenciaga's museum and hike a bit of the Compostela Pilgrimage Route. We stayed five nights and enjoyed every moment in San Sebastian. The hotel is near Sports Bar where the best fried baby calamari can be found, and the mercado(morning market in the basement next to Lidl). There's a bakery a block towards the beach on the same street as the hotel entrance and a specialty coffee house with Chemex drip service, etc. just on the other side of the estuary. We enjoyed the hotel breakfast once and it was fine. After four nights and days(!)of pintxos, we tried the Asian restaurant in the hotel. The pad thai noodles with shrimp was visually stunning with the fried tofu, nuts, herbs but was flavorless. It needed tamarind sauce- we were so disappointed! My boys surfed in wet suits in the beginning of March at the beach to the right and rented everything from hotel recommended Puka Surf Shop. The location is not too central or on the main beach but my husband rarely vacations so we chose this luxurious hotel and have no regrets. Reception, concierge, doorman are all friendly, and it's less than 10 min. on foot from the main bus station that takes you to Biarritz, Bilbao, etc. There's a cooking school/shop on site. My boys left one and two days before I did but I felt completely safe returning to the hotel alone at night.

This hotel is one of the old " grand dame" hotels It has been recently remodeled and it shows. It is located overlooking both the shore and the harbor in San Sebastián. It is gorgeous The breakfast is COMPLETE. You will be so happy with the food and the beautiful dining room. All first class. The staff are very attentive and helpful. Our room was beautifully appointed and I'd return here anytime . Loved this classic hotel
