Beautiful place to stay. Jorge and Sergio were really hospitable along with the beautiful ladies whom prepared the daily fresh breakfast that is included. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing setting this is perfect. It is kept very clean and is such a serene place to stay in. It's location is only about a 15 min walk to the center or 3 mins away in cab. Casa Don Pascual is a perfect gem.
the street is rough, when you drive to the Casa Don Pascual, but once you go in, it is a beautiful appointed boutique hotel, beautiful suites nice apartments, where I stayed, huge enough for a family, or a couple, true is a bit far from the center of town, I risked driving in and found space, was I lucky yes, very much, but it made to feel free and not need a taxi, that are also available, walking down the hill is not easy, but doable.....but the place is divine, nice furniture and decorations, and great service of the staff and delicious breakfast.....try them they are worth it.
So AirBnB cancelled a reservation I had in San Miguel de Allende, and honestly I thank the host that cancelled because gave us the chance to booked this awesome hotel Casa don Pascual. As my title says it is a flashback in time, this old Colonial style house is beautiful located just 10 minutes away from historic San Miguel de Allende. We requested two rooms, and one was a beautiful suite, fully equipped, and the other was a very big room, with a King Bed, beautiful terrace and access to the pool and jacuzzi. The host in the hotel were amazing, breakfast was delicious. One good thing, the hotel has very good taxi services, so instead of bringing your car downtown (FYI parking there is hard) you get a Taxi or an UBER.
The hotel is located close to the main road that connects Queretaro and SMA. It is a 20min walk down to the center, 5-10mins to the Mirador. It is a very steep climb up. For a pregnant woman in her third trimester, maybe not the best location. Tooms are spacious and breakfast is really good. Owners and staff very curteous. Would tty and avoid the groundfloor rooms in the main building as you hear absolutely everything.
Lovely , Cozy, very Mexican, been there twice...so you can imagine that I've love it the first time.Rooms are all different and big, great decoration.I really enjoy the Jacuzzi especially by night.Pool and living room is a very nice place to chill too, and off course, second floor view is very nice.
This beautiful small property casa was exceptionally beautiful. It is a bit up the hill and slightly hard to find but it is a hidden gem for that reason. Nice views with a bit of tree obscuring. The staff was very welcoming and kind. We are a gay couple and we felt welcome. Nice pool, small grounds and a great morning breakfast. Its a slightly long steep walk to midtown but do-able. Taxis are easy to get too. The only downside is the evening cultural praise of the saints with VERY loud fireworks ALL night long. Literally. I appreciate the civic zeal but trying to sleep is nearly impossible for those of us that don't experience it daily. We had to close all the windows and power up the fans to max to obscure any sound (not very successfully). Over all it was good one night stay tho.
Hotel Don Pascual is the perfect place for couples wanting a weekend retreat in San Miguel. The room, grounds, and staff were all excellent. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood and about a 15 taxi ride from downtown. With limited parking in San Miguel, I would recommend using taxis to get around. My fiancé and I both agree that we will return to Hotel Don Pascual.
Outstanding all around. A hidden gem. I stayed there with my wife and they exceeded our (high) expectations. Humberto (manager) treats you like royalty . They solve any problem you may have. Truly the taste of a world class boutique hotel. 7 to 10 minutes walking or by car to downtown. Amazing views, breakfast and elegance. HIGHLY recommended
This beautiful B&B is something you have to see. It offers a stunning view of the old city. It is considerably uphill from the city, but taxis are cheap and plentiful. Gilbert was very helpful in ordering taxis, recommending fabulous restaurants and opening up the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Delicious breakfasts were served by Sergio and his wife, Marguerita. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Don Pascual!
This Mexican colonial building was wonderfully remodeled and is a pleasure to see but the attention to detail by the insufficient staff leaves a lot to be desired. We did not have hot water in our room and our repeated calls to the office were never answered. Breakfast, which was included in our rate, was frankly no treat at all. I would qualify this as a bed & breakfast and mid-level at best.
