Two of my girlfriends and I traveled in September to this wonderful city and based on my good experience with Casa 1810 the previous year, we stayed here again. Roberto was so wonderful to accommodate our requests and the entire staff were truly wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, the restaurant amazing and the location could not be better. Awakening every morning to the bells of the Parroquia was a gentle reminder of the magic of this city. The breakfast is delicious and then you're off for the day. However, a quick trip back to the hotel is easy because it is literally one block from the Jardin. So, I will always stay here because I truly view the hotel as part of my great experience in San Miguel.
Nothing but positives. Great location, perfect combination of modern touches and SMA culture and hospitality. Friendly and professional staff made for a most comfortable and relaxing stay. Included breakfast was great. Some of our best meals in SMA were at the hotel restaurant Trazo. We will definitely be back!
Excellent hotel, great location, extremely friendly service, great roof deck. 100 recommendation!!! Nothing is short in this hotel. Location, location!!! Advice, call hotel direct and book, it is much cheaper and they provide you better options and upgrades
we were in San Miguel for a wedding and had the whole hotel for the wedding, the rooms were big, we had breakfast every morning at the hotel and it was delicious, and everyone that worked there were wonderful, will be coming back very soon.
This place was a great place to stay in the middle of SMA! The location is fantastic, the breakfasts are great and most importantly the staff are wonderful. Shout outs to Robert and Edder who were amazing!!
I recommend this hotel to guests often - super pretty, historic hotel. Well located - a bit weird, you have to go through a store to get to it - but once you are there, you'll love it. Awesome rooftop dining.
We visited SMA for a milestone birthday and, after some research, selected Casa 1810 as our lodging. It turned out to be a great choice. When we return, we’ll stay here again. The rooms, decor, restaurant, rooftop bar and especially the service were first rate. SMA is known for good restaurants and Casa 1810’s in-house Trazo was probably our favorite. The included full breakfast was beyond excellent. Even the bar food was very good. The entire staff went above and beyond, but Robert deserves special mention - he did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable. The location could not be improved on, being only a half-block from the main square and the Parroquia (main church) and within walking distance of almost everything. The view from the rooftop bar is quite striking, especially at night when the churches are lit. We had a great vacation here.
This is a late post but wanted to share the incredible and unforgettable moments lived at Casa 1810. My husband and I came back just after 3 months after visiting it for the first time with our family to celebrate my birthday. Casa 1810 staff went beyond their call giving us the most beautiful celebration decorating my room with balloons, a delicious cake and Platinum Tequila bottles for both rooms. They outdid themselves! The service is gold and the food is exquisite. They really make you feel like royalty, Thank you to everyone at Casa 1810! Special shoutout to Allan for all his coordination! Gracias!!
Service: Roberto Vallejo, Carlos and Diana made our stay at Casa 1810 a spectacular experience. To start, even before arriving, Diana made sure we had dinner reservations at local hot spot + had a bellhop ready half a block outside of the hotel ready to greet us upon arrival. Once we arrived, we met Roberto, friendly, efficient, goes out of his way to accommodate, a overall nice person THAT LIKES his job (that makes the world of difference). Roberto took care of our every question, needs and wants from arrival to departure. When Roberto was on break, Carlos took over, as efficient, as nice and as courteous. Hotel accommodations: Five star. Excellent location. Great size rooms with surprisingly large bathroom with a large shower (no tub, less chance to fall). Super clean. Hotel rooftop restaurant: The breakfast is outstanding. The service is incredible. The price is manageable.
While on a walk down one of the scenic streets of this outstanding city we came across Casa 1810 and the rooftop bar/restaurant Trazo. We were so pleased with the exceptional service, creative cocktails and awesome appetizers that we kept returning every day of our vacation, even if just to pop in for a refreshment and break from the sun. It’s out new favorite place for great food in an upscale setting. Lovely view of the church, too!
