Luis, Dillan, Oscar, Erika, Mario, and Liz were all phenomenal staff! They really treated me and my friend kindly getting whatever we needed, picking us up in the golf cart and taking us around the property! Thank you so much! The food is well seasoned if you eat at the restaurant.

Honestly did not expect the 5 star service that they provided. I’ve never been greeted out front of a hotel until this stay. Breakfast is included but we had to leave before breakfast and sure enough at 4:30am there was breakfast waiting for our family at the check out desk! Amazing service, and the rooms and property were beautiful!!

Xandari is a beautiful and peaceful escape. The surroundings are breathtaking, with lush gardens and stunning views. The food at the restaurant was fresh and flavorful, and the staff made me feel truly cared for. My room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and I left feeling completely refreshed. The spa was incredible and the views are magic. The waterfalls on the property are stunning and I loved hiking the trails for 2 hours through the dense, lush jungle on a very well maintained trail. The staff were so caring, attentive and kind, everyone helped me arrange transportation, meals and activities as a solo traveller.

The property is beautiful with a 3 mile hike around the outer perimeter you can see five waterfalls, but the hiking is difficult with around 700 stairs in total. But well worth it. Rooms are nice but only one fan in the living and none in the bedroom, so it was hot. Food was okay, wait staff not very friendly.

Beautiful place with great views. There is no tv and when I was there the internet was out in the rooms. I would have stayed 2 more nights if it worked. Indoor outdoor shower is amazing too. Great place for solitude. Another downside was that the linens smelled moldy. I would go back though if I called about the internet. Food and service was also good

A great remote, quiet and serene facility with beautiful views. The facility has five beautiful waterfalls within the property that are nice to visit. The unit was nicely furnished, and had a unique colors and furnishings. The drawback was that it was a little far from any walkable restaurant or other facilities, no television inside the rooms, no air conditioning just the fan, and the water pressure in the bathroom was horrible. Barely a little dribble of water would come out of the showerhead. It was brought to the attention of the hotel staff, but they stated that that is as good as he got. I might consider staying at this facility again if I cannot find something better in the area.

Xandari was awesome! We loved the villa, the property, the people and the food! The views are spectacular and food was super fresh. My family loved the spacious villa and walking around the grounds. It’s also very convenient to the San Jose airport. We loved it so much we came back at the end of our trip to stay another couple of nights!

Beautiful hotel and grounds, fabulous room! Restaurant service wasn't fast but food was good. Lovely hiking trails, I even saw toucans! Only downside was the spa was closed for maintenance and we planned a day in the spa. They did offer in room massage which was lovely

Our stay at Xandari Resort was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We missed our flight and arrived a day late, but they were extremely accommodating and helped us reschedule without any hassle — a huge relief after a stressful travel day. The food at the resort was amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. One of the standout experiences was discovering that they brew their own IPA, which was such a unique and memorable touch. The views from both our room and the dining area were breathtaking — lush greenery and sweeping landscapes that made every moment feel serene and special. Honestly, the pictures on Expedia don’t do it justice. The real experience far exceeds what you see online. They should definitely update them! Highly recommend Xandari to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with exceptional service, food, and scenery.
