The place is quite old. Had better days. Much of the carpets are worn out in the common areas & hallways. Rooms need some serious redesign for better use of space. Parking is another $20/day; should be shown on website.

Nothing. I got a wrong room and it was dirty. Service was su lcks

room dont have view look like picture when I get & when check in at the time i come and didnt ready yet . wait too long and said upgrade a room for me . but idk what upgrade i have

I don’t have a problem with the property but I was charged twice and it’s going to take two weeks to get my money back so aside from that I highly recommend the fairmont if I go anywhere with a fairmont available I make an effort to stay there

The brand name has allowed them over price this dated hotel. We were also asked to choose a room that ended up being an upgrade. It’s in great location but not sure if I’d pay to stay here again

The lobby under construction Ugly and the design is not 5 star

Overall it was a great experience, there is remodeling happening but there are clear signs and not too much of a hassle to work around.

Stayed in renovated tower. Nice, spacious room Clean, comfortable beds and lots of pillows. Quiet too

Susheel is great front desk rep... ask for him while there

We had a great stay at the property. The only thing that was inconvenient was the fact that the mini fridge can't be used for anything other than the product that the hotel puts in it for purchase, which can't be moved otherwise you get charged. Other than that inconvenience, rest of stay was nice.

This is a lovely hotel in the heart of downtown San Jose. The staff are amazing. I was there on a crowded weekend - there was a big fat crazy rich wedding in the hotel, Comic Con SJ, and a Rolling Stones concert. Still the staff was calm, there for everyone and always pleasant. The bed was so comfortable and the room over all was lovely. My only note is the WiFi charges are a bit steep. But, that is a small thing considering everything else you get.

Checked in late with my family and was given a room that hasn’t been updated in years. The lamp shade had burn marks and was ripped. The carpet was stained and when the door closed it had a huge gap which didn’t seem too safe. The front desk switched is to another room (updated tower) and even this room appeared ‘tired’ too. Don’t plan on staying here for future trips - really disappointed.
