Very comfortable room. It was quiet and felt very safe. The buffet breakfast was very expensive and not very good. The breakfast staff was very busy and the service was very slow or nonexistent so ordering off the menu was impossible.

There is absolutely no reason to pay extra money for the Premium Tower rooms. The entire VIP terrace is closed/shut down empty. The hotel does not tell you that upon check-in. The hotel itself is fine, but was very disappointed to have wasted money on a premium room when there are no premium amenities. All closed. Book a regular room to save yourself from being disappointed. The free breakfast they offer is chaos. Just buy food in the market. The other restaurants are very disorganized. They are not handling the situation very well.

best place to stay

We love the Customer service and Restaurant service. Every person that works in this hotel is delicate and helpful. We love the Room, coffee and food. Near Multiplaza good shopping. Dislike Just beautiful swimming pool too cold and Beautiful Jacuzzi too Hot, that we enjoy, off course! Children’s pool perfect! Thanks to this Hotel staff to make a perfect weekend for us!

Incredible staff and hotel. This is the best place to stay in San Jose

The most beautiful hotel in Central America, the service are excelent the food incredible

Both the Hotel and the Mall across the street deserve five stars.

Arrived ~1 hour early, told room will be available in 10 mins, ate lunch while waiting(40 mins) at Nau (restaurant in hotel) came back and room was not ready-waited 2 hrs to get room, filled out intake papers 2 times and left credit card for use for any charges for the 8 day 7 night stay. Had numerous times that had to call for items to be provided(2 people in the room, but only provided face towels/rags for one person)-they did not change the service provided even when we called numerous times or spoke to house keeping directly. Toilet paper not placed on holder, pointed out, left on top of toilet bowl instead. Trash not removed over several days. Also, left 2 days and 1 night way (so room would have been checked at least twice)and returned to find blow dryer not put back and trash not removed. Mini bar not replenished daily. Advised what was used and to charge me for the items from the minibar and provide me with a bill showing all had been paid and left to go to the airport. On the way to the airport, our private guide received a call demanding that we return and pay the bill bc they could not find the paperwork I filled out at the beginning of my stay. So instead of emailing me with outstanding items, a combative rep was calling our private guide. So there was a breach of any normal protocol, bad record keeping, inefficient data entry practices. Wondering what happened to the physical copy taken of my card at the beginning of my stay-a fraud and data compromise concern.

Nice hotel wonderful staff several restaurants in house along with the bar right across the street from the mall. Nice place to stay but a little bit Rich for my blood you can probably get better values so I would reserve in advance

One of the staff show a xenophobic attitude and he were rude, to me that is unforgivable and was very awkward!!!

Lights flickered all day long while there. Not sure if it was an isolated event or if it happens all the time.

the toilet was not clean, water leak. I made a complaint and the water was fixed but the toilet bowl was the same.

The Best hotel in Escazu ever for all people you can find all close to you

Only complaint was that the hotel room was too dark

The hotel is beautiful and clean. The concierge was limited in their knowledge of excursions. There were no towels by the pool and it took a really long time to get some.

My sister and I traveled to San José for a wedding and stayed there. The hotel was great. We only stayed for three nights. Wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay, as there are more affordable alternatives.

This is a great hotel to stay. I come often to Costa Rica for business purposes. The staff is great! the food is very good. It has a nice pool and the gymm to use 24 horas. The breakfast buffet is so delicious.

Great hotel and close to lots of things. The only problem was there is no sound proofing in the rooms and we hear everything that was going on the the lobby from the 3rd floor so we were kept up at night.

The location, room, food, spa...fantastic. Especially after a week in the jungle.

Dear Robert, Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us. I apologies for the inconveniences you had during your stay. Even though the Club Lounge is close, we offer the benefits at The Market Restaurant.
